"Great little gem of a hotel right outside Narlidere. Amazing breakfast, kind employees, and beautiful surroundings. A few things can be improved but nothing significant. For example, a trash can should be added to rooms. Also the location of the light switch outside the bathroom is a little tricky. Finally all the faucet hot/cold directions were wrong. However none of these were significant issues. So, five star overall!"

"Hotel was not maintained so well. Location was fantastic , lots of cafes and restaurants around, Agora shopping centre was just minutes away. During my stay it was raining and the dripping water was everywhere. Such a shame such a good hotel not well maintained."

"The rooms are dirty, the walls need painting. The bathroom is a disaster, with a protruding cable (the mirror has no light). The hairdryer is unusable because the socket is broken. "This was definitely not a four star hotel, I have no idea how the class this a four star. I genuinely do not even know where to start. I travel a lot at least once a week and I travel across the world. I’ve never encountered such a horrible room in my entire life. I’ve stayed at two star hotels which is way better than this. This is a big scam please stay away. The bathroom stunk so badly, The room stunk off smoke and I guess somebody was smoking before me and it has not been cleaned at all....

"I had an excellent stay at Alican Hotel in Izmir. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The room, lobby, and kitchen were all spotless and beautifully maintained, everything looked fresh and clean. I slept very well and felt completely comfortable during my stay. The hotel is also very affordable for the quality you get. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Izmir!"
