"We had such an amazing time here. The place is huge—114 acres—and completely private, which was exactly what we were looking for. We walked the trails every morning, and our dog was living her best life just running around and exploring. The view of the Ottawa River from the chalet is beautiful, and the whole property just feels completely peaceful and quiet.The chalet was spotless and had everything we needed. It felt like a real home, not just a rental. On the really hot days it was nice to step inside to cool down for a bit, but most of the time we were outside kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing by the water. We saw deer every day, along with wild turkeys, turkey vultures, and even bald eagles, which was amazing to see.Louis, the owner, was a real stand-out. He was extremely attentive, easy to talk to and even gave us a personal tour of the property, which made it easy to find all the trails and the best spots to check out.If you want total privacy, lots of space, and a quiet place to enjoy nature without giving up the comforts of home, this place is perfect. We will definitely be coming back! 10/10. "

"We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! The hosts and neighbours were welcoming and kind. Would happily return if we are in the area again. Definitely quiet and peaceful pace of life where you can relax. Gas BBQ was easy to use. Kitchen was stocked. Linens were of great quality and clean. "
