Trevara Cottage was the perfect base for our family summer holiday exploring the beautiful SW coast. The cottage itself is extremely spacious with multiple social spaces including living area, sunroom, games room and dining area. The view, however, is what makes Trevara stand out and what made our stay so enjoyable. With stunning, unspoilt views of the majestic St Michael’s Mount from both the balcony and garden, it really is the perfect location.
The cottage is within very short walking distance of the town (less than 5 minutes) and the ferry ports to go over to the mount. It is also only a short drive away from large supermarkets! Something to note, if you are taking a car, is the narrow driveway that leads to the private parking. We only had a Corsa and Yaris and were having to guide each other out of the narrow lane. (There is affordable parking in town if you don’t fancy the squeeze though!).
The rooms are beautiful and the kitchen is well-equipped so we were able to make meals with ease! A word of warning for the taller folk about the low door frames! One of our party came away with a few bumps.
We would highly recommend Trevara to anyone who wants a homely base for a holiday in Marazion.
