  • Welcome to our cozy and stylish studio in the heart of downtown Manteo, NC! This beautiful space is perfect for couples or solo travelers looking to experience the charm and convenience of living in one of the Outer Banks' most historic and picturesque towns full of history and rich in culture.
    The studio is located in a prime location a block from the Manteo waterfront. You'll also find a variety of unique shops, restaurants, and cafes just steps away from your front door. It's also only 12 minutes from Nags Head beaches.
    Inside the second floor 690sqft studio, you'll find a comfortable queen-sized bed and a modern bathroom with an in suite washer and dryer. The living area is equipped with a cozy sofa, smart TV with cable, and internet. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and all the necessary utensils and dishes to whip up a delicious meal.
    Start your morning watching the sunrise just over the sound viewable from the front of the unit and outdoor areaway.
    For your convenience, we provide all linens, towels, and toiletries. You can pull right up to the steps of the building to unload and there are many areas to park including behind the building (my everyday go to), in front, street, and a huge new city parking lot 1 block away. Please keep in mind the unit is accessible only by stairs.

This is a great place to stay for a trip to the beach. perfectly located in the Manteo town square making it easy to walk to several places for an evening out. Would highly recommend that you stay here.

Laurie’s place was the perfect location for a weekend stay in downtown Manteo! It was cozy, quaint, well appointed and walking distance to all the shops & restaurants. Especially enjoyed the waterfront walks with our dog! My wife and I will definitely be back for a longer stay together!

Great host!

We were in town for our grandson's high school graduation. Place was clean and simple...just perfect for us. We always love the quaint downtown area with shops and restaurants nearby. Host was very responsive when we ran into a little snag which was solved quickly. We would definitely stay again.

Cute, convenient apartment in the center of it all

Clean, cute, 1bedroom condo on top of some quaint shops. All the shops close by 5/6 pm so not a lot of foot traffic or noise. Right in the heart of downtown Manteo with beautiful walking trails, close to nags head, pea island and rodanthe. The hosts are thoughtful and had everything for convenience. Will definitely stay here again!

Home Base for a Concert

We really enjoyed our stay. This studio apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the festival park, the Manteo waterfront, shops, and a few restaurants and delis. We were surprised to find some waters and drinks in the frig and a bottle of wine as well. Very appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful

The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. Walking to shops and restaurants was so easy. The waterfront was a block away. There was a pavilion you could look right at from the balcony or sit at the benches next to it. They had music on the weekend. The owner was super friendly, they even had wine and water in the fridge. You won't be disappointed in this nice place.

Perfect for a downtown Manteo Stay

We stayed for a weekend to attend an event at the Roanoke Island Festival Park, and the location was perfect. We could walk to the Festival Park, as well as to several restaurants and the coffee shop was literally right downstairs. The apartment had practically everything you could want, including basic toiletries, a fan, and kitchen essentials. The only thing I didn’t see provided was a hair dryer. The unit is obviously well cared for and made for a very comfortable stay. Our only critique is that the living room rug did not appear to have been vacuumed prior to our stay. Everywhere else in the unit was impeccably cleaned, so we think this probably just an oversight. And thankfully a vacuum was in the laundry area, so it was an easy fix. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for providing such a wonderful spot for our visit!

Exceeded Our Expectations and Beyond!!

There is simply not enough positive feedback I could convey about our stay at Greg and Lauri’s VRBO! First, I would like to note my exceeding gratitude on Laurie’s flexibility with our schedule. We had unforeseen issues and she was quite accommodating. I was surprisingly shocked at how quaint and charming the town of Manteo was! In all honesty, I was a little nervous staying here, as we had wanted the Outer Banks experience, but I could not be more pleased that we chose this location. It was as if we had a vacation within a vacation, and the town offered a sweet and charming vibe, coupled with the best seafood and restaurants that we had on our entire trip. We were taken aback when we entered the VRBO suite. It was undoubtedly one of the BEST layouts I have seen. The ceilings were very tall, everything was newly updated, and all craftsman details were carefully made. Cleanliness is extremely important as a traveler, and I was pleased to find that it was impeccable in this facet. Lori had placed all items that we could possibly need such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, body spray, K-cups, dish detergent, and even a bottle of red and white wine (chilled) depending on our preference (along with several types of other fun beers)! What an outstanding and one of a kind experience. I could not have been more pleased. We were even able to go downstairs and meet them personally! I would make a point to come back to Manteo just to stay at this suite again.
