"Staff was rude and unprofessional. For whatever reason they argued with me about my address on my ID, even after i tried to explain that I had recently moved and hadn't updated my DL quite yet, but the credit card I used is in fact my own (hence my name on the card). When i offered to use an alternate card (one that still had my old address on file, to match my DL) he refused. When i offered my husbands DL and credit card (that have current and matching adresses) he refused. When i asked for an explination all he would say is that its the "motel policy" weird, because when i booked the room online i didnt see any mention of ANY policy regarding guest addresses listed on their req'd ID.... sounds alot like some shady made up BS to me"
"Cozy room, easy staff free check in, convenient location steps away from the Mountainview Brewery, and delicious continental breakfast provided in the room. Only wish was a normal style coffee maker. Everything else was great!"
"The pictures they used as an example were absolutely unlike the room we stayed in. The walls were nearly falling apart, the bathroom was grimy, and it was an uncomfortable place to sleep. Although the bedding was clean and the room seemed like it had been cleaned, the room as a whole just felt so dirty. There was also a door that led into the building that was locked from the outside, and was unable to be locked from within the room.
This is unfortunately one of, if not the worst hotel room I have stayed in."
Magic Mushroom A-Frame Cabin with wood-burning hottub
6/10 Okay
"Went with a group of 6 so it was pretty full. Pros: the grounds were really nice, the beds were comfy and bedrooms cute, the location was great, the firewood axe was Deluxe!Cons: the firewood for the stove, hot tub, and sauna was wet (we ended up buying some); when we arrived we found some dirty used towels/bathmats hanging up in the (small!) shower; the kitchen had very few cooking tools (and one was a moldy electric frying pan...); one of the electric outlets didn't work.Overall, would probably recommend going in the summer and bringing your own pots etc. if you wanna make elaborate meals. We had a nice time and the cabin aesthetic was cute overall. "
