The room itself was spacious enough with beautiful vistas for a long stay. The best part was the bed; I got my beauty sleep every night. "The room carpet and bedding was clean but the walls were marked, the door frame looked as though the door had been kicked in at some point. The handrails on the stairs were sticky and the hallways looked grim. Breakfast was a bit dismal for a continental brmreakfast and the croissants were not fresh Staff were friendly and helpful offering to take bags up the stairs. Had we know how far up the room was we'd have accepted the offer. Free parking was available at the rear of rhe hotel and it was perfectly placed for an event at the coronation hall. Adequate accommodation for one night. But wouldn't have wanted to be there any longer and would ask for a lower level room if booking again. "
