The hotel is nice and the staff are very helpful and polite. The free breakfast is very stingy even when they say breakfast for two and you are only , WiFi not very strong and struggl to download.

The place is clean, very good service very friendly staff. The breakfast is good. The only critique we have is the shower.When you turn on the shower the water run through the side and down to the bathroom floor.

Lunch options were terrible - sotanghon soup was like water with salt and pepper (no flavor, no effort). Charging extra for XS coffee? terrible.Miscommunication with room pricing: paid extra person but no extra bed in 1st night and i was still charged for it. tv remote, internet was always NOT working! remote battery is cheap - should be ready. BUT, bell person and guards were VERY helpful they should get a raise; thats why I have them all good tip. areas around the hotel looks like a ghetto Makati, so filthy and smelly. interior design of hotel lobby looks great but rooms were not as nice

The Wi-Fi disconnected every five minutes. It's the worst Wi-Fi I ever had in the Philippines. Each room has it's own Wi-Fi connection and passwords for two devices. Neither one of these would stay connected. My twin bed room was nice. The AC worked fine. The hot water kettle and mini fridge worked. No microwave. Breakfast was good. With four choices to order from.

Nice Hotel, WiFi Issues
So firstly, I really like this hotel, very art deco 1930s vibe. Good breakfast included, location is convenient. Main complaint this time was that the WiFi was awful. Hate to whine about stuff like that but in this day and age it’s important and it was totally unacceptable. Had some issues with getting in my room as well but no big deal. Like this hotel, they need to upgrade the WiFi.

Herald Suites is a good hotel. My room was large, mini fridge, hot water kettle with instant coffee packets. The AC worked fine, quiet and kept the room cold. Breakfast was included, from 6-10am, order from menu, fast service. Short walk to all the tourist attractions on and around P. Burgos Street. It's a 20 minute walk to the Buendia MRT Station. Would stay again at this hotel.

Surprisingly upscale. Excellent food and bar service. On the edge of Makati, so other area venues in the immediate area are limited unless you enjoy bars and red light district.

We extended our time here and stayed more than two weeks here. We can only speak highly of this remarkable hotel. After spending an extended period in the Philippines and being rather underwhelmed by the general attitude towards tourists, we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have spent our final days in this hotel. Not only does this hotel meet international hospitality standards with impeccable service, but there was also a standout individual, Assistant Resident Manager Mr. Mark De Guzman, who left us utterly speechless. While we were dealing with several family crises back home, Mr. De Guzman was like an angel to us. He was warm, understanding, and incredibly patient. He made us feel that whatever we needed, whatever we asked for, it was his top priority. His hospitality was beyond measure, and it's an immense privilege for the hotel to have him representing them. We will definitely return when we have the chance, and we highly recommend everyone to experience this exceptional Filipino hospitality. For us, this is the only place in Manila from now on.

Great hotel
Amazing stay. Epic entrance. Staff was very friendly. I couldn’t get a cab and was sweating when I entered. Staff brought me a cooled wet towel and a juice. The room was 60% and crazy good value. Checkout was really quick too.

Herald Suites Polaris is a lovely hotel with periodesque features of the culture. The staff are very polite and pleasant and aim to help however possible. The hotel is located close to bars and local shops and is only a short distance to a mall which can be walked to. Many other malls are only a ride away. The food is lovely and has a variety of choice, you can eat in the restaurant area or have it delivered to your room. The surrounding area is quiet during the night so you can sleep soundly, during the day it is a bustling area with local street foods and residents.

We were set up in a room that did not have a good AC system. It did not cool well, and it was not insulated well. You could clearly see the outside from the top and sides of the AC unit.

Almost every staff is friendly. The doorman with a Filipino hat and the front desk lady made us feel important and comfortable. The restaurant servers and housekeeping did a great job as well. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Thank you Herald Suites for your hospitality.
