great little place to visit the baths at Saturnia- less than 10 minutes by car. dinner was amazing, and very substantial, and almost all made on farm. loved the dogs and the horse, and the amaro, which I bought to take away too.

What A Pleasure !

This property provided us with the restful respite we needed after sightseeing around beautiful Italy. It also served as a retreat after exploring the Tuscan hill towns nearby. Our room and bathroom were roomy, clean and quiet.We especially loved sharing a home cooked meal complete with wine with other guests.

Lovely Property

Loved this location! A little difficult to find, but once you are there it's easy to come and go. Maybe better signage on property giving directions to "check-in" would be helpful. The property is very large and beautiful. We especially loved the dogs that live there. The room was rustic and cute. The breakfast was also decent. Would love to have been able to stay here more than one night passing through. Also, only about a 10 minute drive to the hot springs. The only negative was the bed. Like many places in Italy, a queen size bed is two twin size mattresses, which is a little uncomfortable. Normally they are put together on a larger bed frame. In this case, it's two twin frames pushed together. Because of this, the bed kept separating at night and we would wake to an 6+ inch gap in the middle of the bed with only the sheet preventing you from falling through. I think we got up 3 times to push it back together before giving up. My suggestion is for the hotel to get a new single frame, or find a way to last the two beds together.

Tutto perfetto per ciò che cercavo. Tranquillità, relax, cortesia, cibi ottimi a km 0, vicinanza alle terme e ai vari luoghi da visitare. Peccato non abbiano più i cavalli per passeggiate, per me sarebbe stato il massimo della vacanza. Ci tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a tutti

For nature lover

Wow! I had wonderful time at Azienda Agrituristica Le Macchie Alte. Actually, It was difficult to get there. The hotel is kind of hidden because it's not on the main street. I finally found the right building after driving 10 minutes on narrow mountain paths. But it's totally worth! The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The room had a big window and I could see a great view. It's completely surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful. They serve dinner at 8 pm for extra charge. I really enjoyed their traditional Italian food with other guests. I will come back!! Thank you!! P.S. If you drive 20 minutes, you can get to Saturnia hot spring. While you are staying at this hotel, you should visit the natural hot spring! Everyone can enjoy it!

Ottimo soggiorno presso questa azienda agrituristica, staff cordiale e disponibile, posizione strategica nel cuore delle colline toscane, cibo sopraffino, colazione abbondante e gentilezza di tutti i collaboratori.Felicissima di vedere che la tv non c'è!! Qualche problema per la connessione wi fi da verificare, la portata del segnale non è potente.Tariffe allineate allo standard del servizio offerto.Camere spaziose e pulite, si devono fare i conti con qualche animaletto di campagna..ma vabbeh ci sta!!Ottima la vicinanza con il mare e con le terme. STRA CONSIGLIATO

Torneremo ancora

L'agriturismo è ottimo per la cucina, le passeggiate nella tenuta immersi nel silenzio assoluto, per la piscina all'ombra di una magnifica quercia, per la scelta del titolare di favorire i rapporti umani a discapito di una serata passata davanti alla televisione. Insomma, abbiamo dimenticato tutti i problemi e siamo tornati rilassati e sereni come non ci capitava da tempo. E' un posto non consigliabile per chi ama le discoteche e la vita notturna, ma per chi si commuove ancora di fronte ad una notte stellata.
