Short stay

Shabbat friendly

This is an older hotel but extremely clean, powerful shower (unlike many hotels I’ve stayed in) with full size bath. For Jews like myself that are Shabbat observant, this hotel is within the Eruv, bedroom door lock is with a key, separate bathroom so one can leave the light on there and open/close the bathroom door when light is required/not required, the staff very willingly give boiled water and milk (without hechsher) for hot drink. Staff are very polite and the cleaner comes every day to change towels etc. Nice lounge downstairs to relax in with a large television.

Easily accessible, just 6 minutes walk from Crumpsall metro. On arrival I was greeted by a very friendly lady, who throughout my stay was very nice and helpful. We checked into the room and immediately noticed how clean the room was, the whole hotel in fact was immaculate. Our room was well equipped with iron hairdryer, tv, fresh towels, and coincidentally my favourite biscuits, just everything you need. That evening after a night out I was quite cold (wet September) and the moment i got into bed, I warmed up so quickly, the bedding was fantastic, and the mattress was honestly the best mattress i have ever slept on in my whole life. It was fantastic! Annoyingly i naturally woke up early but had a lovely bath and started looking forward to breakfast. When i went down, the corridor smelled like fantastic home cooking but i made a mistake and didnt realise i had to prebook the night before. Judging by everything else in the stay, I'm certain it would have been excellent. Checkout was easy at a great time of 11 with an equally friendly gentleman. 5 stars isn't enough. It felt like a family run businesa that was managed perfectly with care and high standards. If i find myself in Manchester again, i would gladly avoid the centre and stay here. Highly recommend.

Overall nice stay at this apartment hotel. Lots of room in the apartment. Did not enjoy having to go up two flights of stairs to get to the room however, with luggage and a baby. Also did not like having to tidy up the room washing all dishes used and putting them away and taking out the trash out to the bin under the rain. I’d expect to have paid that and housekeeping included in my stay. Overall no elevator access was definitely an inconvenience with a seven month old. Staff was nice friendly though.
