Pretty good

Excellent location and staff very helpful and friendly. The apartment was very clean and quite spacious. Loved having a balcony! The only negatives were that the apartment was very warm but when opening the windows there was a lot of noise from the canal lock below. The other negative was that the furnishings were very tired - stains on the sofa, bathrooms could do with a spruce up. The shower pressure was very low. All in all had a great stay and it was fit for purpose.

Just what we needed for a couple of nights stay with friends. Lovely sized apartment with balcony for the lovely Manchester views. Car park just next to the hotel. Lovely staff who made such an effort to chat with us whenever we passed through reception. Have stayed a few times before would happily stay again.

The location is excellent and we found the apartment itself was of a pretty good standard. It could do with some softening - perhaps some colour / put some joy into the apartments in some way? It was the service that let this place down on the whole. On arrival, we found the staff to be pretty rude and unhelpful. Be warned, there are lots of rules which is fine but we felt like we were being treated as criminals from the beginning with lots of things to sign, they wanted photo ID and signs in reception telling you what you shouldn’t do, threats of action etc. Not the welcome you would expect! I can’t remember anyone saying “have a nice stay.”Quite clearly they’ve had issues with parties and damage etc. The problem is that we are not those sort of people but were treated as so. I had a friend I wanted to visit for coffee but he was denied entry and they threatened to call security. It was a total overreaction. It was a really hot weekend and the apartment was stuffy. We had a direct view of the canal however also a direct view of a succession of people taking drugs on a bench. I would have complained but I felt at this point, no great love for the staff who would greet you not with hello, but with “room number?” On one occasion returning we were told that they didn’t have anyone in that apartment and were left on the doorstep. In summary, I wouldn’t stay again. We looked across the road and thought we would have had better service at the Premier Inn.

Weekend Away with friends

Great location for Northen Quarter, 5 mins walk from Piccadilly train St and paid off st parking just behind hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the apartment and communal areas modern and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a 3 bed apartment, beds were super comfy and it was nicely furnished. The lounge was a little small and only had a 3 seater sofa with chair so not enough comfy seating for 6 of us but there were 6 dining chairs so not a big problem during our stay as we were out most of the time.

Booked with my friends to celebrate my 21st and I couldn’t fault it at all!! Very welcoming and polite staff. The rooms were set out really nice and had more than enough to accommodate our stay Great location not far from the city centre so we were able to walk to some bars but was also very easy enough to get a taxi

Very poor customer service. checked out one night early. No communication between members of team who worked there. Promised daily cleaning, did not happen, nappies overflowing from bin. Emailed several times to state parents would be helping with childcare as in bubble, lots of arguing. Still chasing an invoice and parking bill over 3 weeks after stay. Advised at the time would be emailed over immediately but there would be a long wait if I wanted to wait for it. Travel to Manchester for work at least 4 times a year, would never consider staying here again. Management rude.

Eventful check-in

I put my partner on the booking when I paid for the accommodation. Because I was running late she tired to check-in, this was a nightmare. I had to send an email with a copy of my driving licence, after that I had to send another email to confirm authorisation for her to check in, then after that she had to provide ID, they would not accept a credit card so she had to get a copy of her passport emailed across. After that, she got the 3rd degree of why we were staying there. The experience took an hr, never experienced this in all my years of staying in Manchester. Wont be staying there again, it is not worth the hassle.

Receptionist ajith and cleaning staff in general were good but on day of checkout we told we had to checkout 1 hr earlier. Not on website. Alot of constriction on side which can be noisey. Not cleaned often. Towels only changed every 3 days. It basic and costs more because of parking if you buainess ttaveller with meetings.

Ask for memory foam pillows

I highly recommend staying here! It's absolutely wonderful! The only downside was that the pillows seemed to be very hard. We didn't realize until the last day that we could have asked for memory foam pillows. You'll want to do this unless you like super firm pillows. They also didn't warn us of the construction going on around the hotel before check in. We were woken up every day by workers outside our apt at 7:30 am. Great stay though and will definitely be back!

Nice little break away!

There is building work going on but did not impact on our stay. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, cosy, modern!! Was perfect for me and my partner. The gentleman on the reception desk was wonderful. He was On in the morning 3/11. Usually we are rushed out and a quick goodbye! But he chatted to me and my partner and was super friendly. Will definitely return!! Great rooms and great facilities. Thank you

Looked exactly like the pictures which is rare. Staff were so polite, any issues they were willing to help straight away. The hotel itself was only a few minute walk away from the town centre which was so convenient. I will definitely be returning here again.
