"When I arrived the system was down therefore the room keys did not work and the staff had to let the visitors in and out of the rooms. I was given a room that was dirty. My phone broke the same day of arrival and I was unable to make reservations for the restaurants on the resort in which was very upsetting because I wanted to do something special for My Son’s Birthday! The staff would not make an exception! MOST of the female staff workers inside of the restaurants were very rude and made me uncomfortable to even want to ask for anything. I thought my reservation included the Beach view and a tub. I could hardly see the beach from my side and was given a shower only with 2 small children. The food selection was not that great. Overall, I would give this stay a 4/10!"

"DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL!!!!!! I stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral with some family members April10-12 and it was the worst decision I ever made . Not long after I checked in my daughter was placed in room 222. Whilst using the bathroom A piece of metal sliced my daughter’s foot. The metal is attached to the bath area. We went down to the lobby and informed the receptionist about the incident . She came over with a first aid kit and gave us some peroxide and purple dressing. Because of the family was in a hurry I did not know the wound was bad until my daughter was limping and the wound didn’t stop bleeding We had to take my daughter to the doctor because of risk of tetanus and pain The staff of Golf View has been giving me the runaround and told many lies. One of the supervisors and the receptionist that checked us in kept on changing their stories about the incident all because they do not want to take responsibility for my daughter’s injury. I am utterly disappointed at the way Golf View addressed this situation The supervisor told me I have to give them an incident form. Mark you after I reported the incident to the receptionist she did not asked me to fill out an incident form. Also they said they would look at the cctv footage. They did not addressed what they found out on the CCTV footage. My daughter was injured on their property and Golf View was inconsiderate about the incident. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone neither would I go back there!!"

"I went there 2 time and I guess since Hurricane they had everything changed not for the good ..the food was not all that and the room was not all that ..my room the tv was not working we called no answer then .my friend didnt get her room until 6pm ..I order a 2 bed and got one bed they give one room then when we went to room someone was already there fro. A 5 start hotel to me it went down 2 starr ..never again"

"Our first trip to Jamaica (April 13–19) at Ocean Coral Spring was largely a great experience with one major issue. The resort is beautiful, with a grand entrance and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly, though more reserved and on “island time.” We stayed in a spacious, clean suite with a comfortable bed, double-head shower, balcony swing, hot tub, and a lovely partial ocean view—perfect for peaceful mornings and evenings. Food and service were strong overall. We enjoyed Martha’s Market and the Privileged Lounge, and the butler service was excellent—attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately, our final night put a damper on the trip. During a paid dinner, a live maggot was found on the shrimp, which immediately killed our appetite for the rest of the stay. Staff handled it professionally—the chef apologized, alternatives were offered, and the charge was removed—but the incident raised concerns about food safety and overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable vacation. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with great amenities and service, but improved food handling practices are needed to ensure a consistently positive guest experience."

"The food was great. I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and I enjoyed the meal. Overall, the staff was friendly, but I did not like the fact that the manager approached me for the bill but did not introduce herself. Also, I had a couple of days without hot water because the hot water heater is solar and it rained for a few days. Nevertheless, the views from the hotel were beautiful. "

"Still waiting on my refund never stayed in this property. Buyer beware Expedia was not helpful in me getting my refund back from a place that was terrible."
