"This stone cottage in the mountains of Malaga province was quaint and cozy. It's part of a camp site with several other such cottages, so you don't feel isolated. There's a pool, but it was closed (for the fall season?). The surrounding woods were fenced off so we couldn't hike much, but walking within the grounds was pleasant. "Great location and pleasant rooms…..it is tricky to park. There is no on-site parking, you can park at the door to unload but then you have a choice of a ( closer) parking lot that costs ? 14 euros per day or else a ( 15 minute walk ) further that is free. We chose the second and it was no problem . The dining room for breakfast is really cramped and so we went out the second morning . The rooms were spacious ….. The staff were very helpful: it is very tricky to get a reservation for La Cueva de la Pileta ( I don’t advise waiting until you arrive in Ronda , but we didn’t know that you can ONLY get thru by phone between 10am -1pm daily ……& you can’t book by email etc) but they were able to get us a booking for what was the best part of the trip! Thanks ! "
