"Writing this review comes with mixed feelings — not because anything was wrong, quite the opposite. Places like this feel like hidden gems you almost want to keep secret. The more people discover them, the harder it becomes to return. This villa truly lives up to its name Estrella (“star”) — it was the star of our trip from the very first moment. As soon as we arrived, we realized this is one of those rare places where reality exceeds the photos.The villa offers generous space, impeccable cleanliness, and a design that beautifully blends modern style with subtle Moorish accents. Everything feels carefully thought out — from the spacious living area to the fully equipped kitchen with two of everything (sinks, fridges, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops), making it perfect for larger groups without ever feeling crowded.All bedrooms have stunning views, private bathrooms, and everything needed for a comfortable stay.The outdoor area is just as impressive — breathtaking views of the mountains and valley, a beautiful pool, a heated jacuzzi for cooler evenings, a BBQ area, and plenty of space to relax.Mark is an exceptional host — communication was smooth and helpful from the start. His recommendations, detailed instructions, and quick support during our stay made everything effortless.Just as you cannot ignore the stars in the night sky, we cannot imagine not coming back.Thank you, Mark — see you again!"

"Charming, old world house on 4 floors. Furnished tastefully with North African, Indian and Spanish pieces. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with equipment and food extras. Balconies, particularly the one on the top floor, provide a sweeping view of local mountains, the Strait, Gibraltar, and Atlas mountains in the distance. Comfortable furniture, super-clean, and a relaxing space. Location within the village but away from noisy establishments was perfect. A small suggestion would be to provide written instructions near the induction stove, which was tricky to operate, despite our familiarity with those types of cooktops. A larger bed (180 cm) for a couple would be nice, although using the two twin beds was quite workable, and they were comfortable for sleeping. Special thanks to the manager Esther who quickly helped us out when we mispaced the house key. Our best accommodation in Andalucía!"

"The hostel is very modern and the room was very clean. There was no one else staying or working at the hostel and the communication was limited to WhatsApp- no one working at the hostel. In the pictures it looks like there is a lovely terrace for use, but it was not available for use. This place has great potential, and I hope it was just desolate because it was the off season? "

"This was the second time we had stayed at the property and were joined by friends and family this time. Lovely location, peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The host was on hand, when needed. The pool was most welcome when the temperature ramped up. We would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful break with fantastic views. "

"This is a wonderful house in an idyllic, quiet setting. The views are stunning and it's lovely to watch the birds, inc. vultures and eagles, soaring around the valley in front of you. The house has everything you need. Comfy beds, good showers and great air-conditioning. The pool area is perfect for relaxing and having a barbecue and the gardens are just lovely. It's like holidaying in the Hollywood Hills !! There's loads of places to visit nearby and we also did day trips to Ronda and Gibraltar. Can highly recommend this house for the perfect holiday. "
