Everything about this place was perfect. Newly renovated, clean, chic decor and super close to the slopes. The property manager checked in to make sure we were ok. Would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay. The condo was perfect size for 6 people and it was 3 min walk to ski lift.
We all felt the beds were very uncomfortable but other than that we loved our stay and would recommend it.
The location of this property is fantastic. It is just steps away from the Canyon Lodge. The unit was well-appointed and comfortable. The TV was huge and had lots of media. We enjoyed our stay but believe a few things would be much better:First, the check-in process is not great. We arrived late Sunday evening and had to navigate to a different location in town to secure the key. The key retrieval was actually kind of annoying as the lockbox would not open on my initial few tries. There was no one in the office to assist so I just kept trying for 10 minutes or so and then finally it opened up so I could get the key and there was only 1 key. I think a key pad on the door itself would be the best solution. Second, when we arrived at the parking garage, we could not access the condo from the parking garage as we were not provided an access code with the booking confirmation instructions. I had to call the help line and I had very poor service so the line kept dropping. I was eventually able to get the code to access the property from the covered parking area by text message but it took a long time and was not great when it was so cold and we had arrived late on Sunday evening. They should provide you the garage code upon entry and the code to the hot tub was DIFFERENT and nobody told us that either. Third, the beds were very firm. I love a firm mattress and sleep on a firm one at home but these were even too firm for me. We may be back if these things improved.
The location was walking distance fe on the slopes and the unit was as described - wonderful!

Very nice condo, we had a great Chrismas!
Beautiful place overall. Just the showerheads need to change.
Location near Canyon Lodge is great. Furnishings, carpet, etc a bit worn, however condo overall is very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Note: hall bathroom sink cold water would not completely shut off.
One of the best stays we've had in Mammoth. We visit several times a year and look forward to returning to this property. All amenities included, very spacious and quiet end unit. Stephanie from Grand Welcome was patient and kind when having to contact the office. We look forward to our return.
This stay had plenty of room to accommodate 2 full-size families. Although tricky to find at first, the complex has amazing amenities and is only steps away from Canyon Lodge.
The rooms were large and comfortable and this stay provided a wonderful view of the sunrise over the Eastern range. A plus that just behind it was a natural slope for the kids to sled down!

👍
Perfect size for our group. We plan on coming back in a few weeks! Walking distance to the mountain.
Property is in walking distance to Canyon Lodge which made it nice to go straight to the lifts. Also, it was easy to come back and have a comfortable lunch at the property. Check-in was relatively easy. You do have to pick up the key at the property management office. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice family stay in Mammoth
Very spacious condo! The beds were comfortable and the furniture was nice. The pillows need to be changed as they are small and flat. There are heaters in every room which kept us toasty despite the blizzard outside. Beautiful view out of the dining room. Great location as it is steps from Canyon Lodge.

Great condo and location!
Everything was great! Condo was perfect for us. It would have been nice to know the lockbox was in a different location before arriving. Also, most of the blankets needed cleaning. Other than that it was a cute and quaint place!

Convenient, great for grandparents, kids, grandkids.
Very convenient. Walk 1 block to Canyon Lodge. Underground parking.
Separate loft bedroom and bath for parents or grandparents, kids downstairs. Even sleds for apres ski day. Furnishings a little old. But, clean and everything works.

Convenient to the slopes
Several pluses to this property, it was clean, very close to the slopes and it was quiet. We would rent it again if we were coming back to mammoth. A couple of negatives were the shower heads were awful in all 3 bathrooms, there were no comfortable chairs to relax in and the TVs didn’t work in 2 of the bedrooms.
The condo is older and could use some remodeling but we didn’t come to mammoth to sit in a luxurious condo, we came to snowboard and ski. The property fit our needs and overall we were pleased.

Not Good!
Should have not listed as Ski in/Ski out! Canyon Lodge was closed! This was a huge problem! Refund should be given, this was not ski in/ski out!

Great Location, Good Space, Needs a Little TLC
The location is fantastic, you are steps away from Canyon Lodge and there is a bus/trolley stop in front of the building. It is a spacious condo, we had 4 adults and 2 children. The condo needs a little TLC, better pillows (flat and hard) and cookware (pans need to be replaced). The property management company was very prompt in responding and accomodating. We had no washcloths, a dining chair was broken and the window in the downstairs master would not close because of a broken lever. When that was brought to their attention, they responded quickly and were helpful!

In dire need of upgrade
Unit was just OK, property could use a upgrade. Just very old and outdated! Living room furniture old old and very dark in that room. Photos are misleading, make rooms all look larger than they are. Kitchen's few utensils and pans could be replaced. Maids could do a better job, long hairs found in shower when we arrived and linens were in-side-out on bed. We travel extensively and rent private properties frequently as well as have a property on VRBO in a resort town. So comparing what we offer to customers!! Sorry for the truth but will not be returning to this property.

good value
Bad news: a couple of chairs were broken as we discovered after a day or two. Not enough large cereal bowls or small teaspoons. 3rd floor condo with Master Suite up another flight were challenging for "burned out " skiers at days end. Far enough from the Jacuzzi that we never used it.
Good News: VERY cozy. Plenty of firewood. Comfortable beds. Effective heating system (even without the fireplace). Lots of utensils. And CLOSE to skiing. I had never before realized how un-stressful mornings could be if I didn't have to drive to skiing. Everyone just got going when they felt like it and we'd meetup on the mountain. Garage was great and two spaces is a plus. Oh, and the 3rd floor complaint above made for some wonderful sunrises. VERY quiet. The condo is on the back side of the building so we NEVER heard any street noise. The fours tars instead of five is because of the no elevator. My rating is actually about 4.7 stars.
And, yes, I would rent it again.
P.S. Hey, VRBO. Why only two choices 100% or 0% ? It seems designed to get "lies" out of people as, I would bet, most experiences are in between.
