Frühstück ist lecker. Zimmer ist in Ordnung aber die Einrichtung bzw die Anlagen kommen schon in die Jahren. Swimming pool ist ziemlich klein.

La maisonnette que nous avons loué était idéal pour notre famille. Le logement est situé au calme dans un écrin à couper le souffle, montagne et oliviers sans oublier le chant des cigales au matin ... Un vrai bonheur ! De plus Georgia est vraiment adorable, gentille et de bons conseils ! Merci encore 😉 Je recommande vraiment ce lieu pour un séjour réussi.

Beautiful!

Amazing location just a bit off the pavement, totally worth a few kilometers of dusty road! Delicious breakfast buffet and rustic dinner totally worth catching. Great hiking trail down the scenic little canyon.

This was our second visit and it gets better every time. Georgia and the team are warm and friendly and will do anything for you. The fresh Cretan food cooked by Georgia herself is fabulous, you don’t need to eat elsewhere. If you want to escape to peace and quiet, this is the place to be. We will be back for our third trip!

Country hotel not far from sea, theoretically comf

In a very good landscape, a very quite accomodation. It has a plenytude of facilities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna...), but not luxury and, sometimes even not simply in good condition. Good that warm water is provided by solar panels, but the system should work and not leave the customer with cold shower! Pool is really small and jacuzzy out of order. There more appearance than substancy and, despite the polite staff and the very rich breakfast, maybe the place is not worthing the difficult road to reach it.

Relaxing place in the mountains

Perfect place for people to relax. The place is a little outside but that's what makes it awesome. All people from the staff are so friendly and take lot's of efforts for the guests. Georgia is amazing with a really nice personality with a lot of charme. Thanks a lot, we had an unforgettable stay.

Splendide

Nous remercions Georgia qui nous a super bien accueilli au sein de son complexe. L'ensemble du personnel est d'une gentillesse rare. La générosité et la sympathie est au rendez-vous tout au long de notre séjour. De plus Georgia nous a beaucoup conseiller sur les lieux à visiter ce qui nous a été d'une très grande aide. Elle est également une cuisinière hors pairs et a su répondre à nos exigences sans aucun problème. Malgré les 2 km de chemin de terre, cela n'a posé aucun problème, car au bout nous arrivons dans un havre de paix au milieu des oliviers et du chant des grillons. Un vrai bonheur. Le studio est totalement conforme aux photos, alors n’hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçu. Pour notre part nous reviendrons à coup sur. Encore Merci à Georgia d'avoir fait de notre séjour un moment de bonheur!!!!

Prima volta a Creta

La struttura è nuova ma non finita, per raggiungerla dalla strada principale ci sono più di 2 km di sterrato.Inizialmente ci è stata assegnata una "microcasa" con doccia di fianco ai fornelli(??!! mai visto una cosa del genere)e scarico WC non funzionante, Abbiamo pagato una differenza e ci hanno dato una casa molto più grande dove però abbiamo avuto problemi di scarsità di acqua, di autoclave rumorosa che nonostante tutto non riuscire a dare la giusta pressione. Per il resto se si ama la tranquillità il posto è giusto, la sig.ra che gestisce è cortese, la colazione (7 euro a testa)è buona.

Fantastisk personale, Georgia er enestående og helt igennem fantastisk receptionist / værtinde. Dejlig udsigt, god morgenmad, dejlig rolige omgivelser, skønne værelser. Rengøringen kunne godt være bedre, men ikke noget som ødelægger ens ophold. Være opmærksom på at man skal køre i ødet bjergområde og man skal ha bil.

Lovely resort in a quiet location.

We stayed as a family of 3 for 2 weeks in a flat near the resort. The resort has some flats within the complex where the guests' swimming pool and restaurant/bar area is. It also has a house with it's own swimming pool and another house divided in two apartments not far from the resort. We were staying in the house with 2 apartments on the first floor and the two best things were: the amazing view of the city & the sea from the balconies (3 of them in total!!) and the great view from the bedroom. The flat was spacious enough for 3 people and had an open kitchen area with living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. The flat has air conditioning which works well and also Wi-Fi.....which works on some occasions ( we saw the service engineer try to fix the issue with it, but the best place to use the Wi-Fi is the swimming pool/restaurant area). The kitchen is clean and there are utensils and plates available. There is a sponge and washing up liquid available.The fridge is big and has a free bottle of water to welcome you. The bathroom has towels and toilet paper but no soap/shampoo/shower gel ... we had brought our own just in case. The cleaners come every 4 days and change the sheets and towels and clean the flat. Overall the flat is very nice, basic and a bit of DIY would make it more comfortable. Resort Customer service: this was 5 ***** !!! The owner doesn't speak much English but he does an effort to try and communicate how he can!! The person you can speak to for EVERYTHING

Natur, Entspannung und und und...

Kinder waren begeistert!!! Heraklion ist in weniger als einer halben Stunde erreichbar... extrem angenehmes Sradtzentrum. Knossos ist auch nicht weit... es lohnt sich in dieser Gegend zu verweilen!

Wunderschöne gepflegte und ruhig gelegene Anlage!

Wir wurden von Georgia am Flughafen abgeholt und dort schon äußerst herzlich begrüßt! Die Fahrt führte uns entlang am Meer durch Heraklion mitten in die Olivenhainberge. Die Ferienanlage liegt etwa 15 Minuten entfernt von der Hauptstadt in einer traumhaften Kulisse! Als wir in Estate Kares ankamen wurden wir ebenfalls vom Besitzer begrüßt, der übrigens deutsch spricht und man lud uns auf ein Willkommensgetränk ein. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Man wohnt in den Bergen umgeben von tausenden Olivenbäumen und dazu hat man am Pool eine grandiose Aussicht auf das Meer. Wir hatten den Pool sogar meistens für uns alleine. Zudem haben wir die Sauna genutzt und es gab zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten. Wir mieteten uns ein Quad, was im Nachhinein wohl ganz gut war, da die Straße von der Ferienanlage bis zur "Bundessstraße" nicht geteert ist und eher an eine Offroad Strecke erinnert. Allerdings ist die Straße auch mit einem normalen Auto befahrbar. Georgia hat uns damit auch heil vom Flughafen abgeholt und wieder hingebracht. :) Wir fühlten uns in unserem Zimmer sehr wohl. Wir buchten das tradionelle Deluxe Studio mit Whirlpool im Zimmer. Die gesamte Anlage sah so aus wie auf den Bildern und teilweise sogar noch besser!

Lack of attention to room service. Only one change of towels in a one week stay and only a partial room clean. Sadly missing the attention to detail that is required of a 4 star complex. The bed was extremely comfortable and offered a very good nights sleep, top marks for this.

Definitely secluded, but an unexpected beauty

Despite receiving an email with direction to the hotel, we couldn't quite believe it when we got to the road - it was described as a 'country road', but I think 'road' was used in the loosest possible sense - basically don't attempt it if you don't have a four-wheel drive! However, when we had made the slightly hair-raising journey down the track, what a find! This place is amazing, especially for the price. The maisonette was huge, with everything you could want for self-catering in the kitchen, lovely big bathrooms, very comfortable beds and four separate balconies. The views look over a valley with a river at the bottom, and was secluded and quiet with hardly any other buildings in sight. The manager only spoke Greek and German so communication was s struggle, but she was very nice. Meals are available but there isn't exactly a menu, you just seem to get whatever they have, and lots of it. Unfortunately the language barrier meant we couldn't explain that we'd eaten in the afternoon and only wanted a light snack, and in getting across that we wanted to eat we ended up with a four-course meal. However it was delicious, and I was sorry not to be able to finish everything. We only stayed one night as we were on our way to visit friends in the south-east of Crete, so we didn't use the swimming pool or sauna facilities. It was out of season, so seemed very quiet, but I'm sure that even in summer the location of the hotel would offer a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
