Terrible / tiny room — comfy bed

The advertised picture versus our actual room where two totally different things. The room we booked was the size of a normal hotel room...the room we actually got could hardly fit a full size bed and not in great shape (though the bed was surprisingly comfortable).

One good night in Male!

Room was almost European sized, but it makes sense considering everything has to fit within the size of the island. The bed was very comfortable- we both commented on it! The room was VERY clean and the air conditioning was the best I’d felt in the Maldives. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. One even walked us to the boat we needed for an excursion to ensure we made it to the right spot. The staff truly made the experience wonderful and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the great stay Novina!

Personal hilfsbereit bei Nachfrage, allgemein aber nicht sehr freundlich. Zimmer sehr klein und unsauber, Wände sehr dreckig, sehr hellhörig. Das Bad gingegen war gut und schien sauber. Preis-Leistung stimmt einfach nicht überein. Für 70€/Nacht erwarte ich definitiv mehr

Haimme kohtuuhintaista hotellia yhden yön tarpeisiin. Tämä hotelli soveltui siihen hyvin. Siisti ja hyvä sijainti. Valittu perushuone pieni ja ikkunaton, mutta hyvin varusteltu. Jatkossa ottaisin hieman paremman kuin tällaisen perushuoneen ja ainakin jos olisin useamman yön. Hotellin yhteydessä oleva ravintola tarjosi hyvän illallisen, aamupala tyypillisen vaatimaton.

Bon hotêl pour une nuit

Bonne location pour le marché aux poissons et l'accès aux speedboat pour Rasdhoo. A 15min en taxi ou en bâteau de l'aéroport. Très bon petit déjeuner avec un excellent service. Bon acceuil Très bruyant, chambre et salle de bain basique. Conseil reserver son ferry par ses propres moyens. Dans l'ensemble bon hôtel pour une nuit.

三間房其中有一間沒有熱水，而且那間房內插座只有一個。 有兩間房明顯有點霉味(潮濕的味道)。 早餐跟服務人員都很不錯，位於市區附近店家很多。

Este fue ub hotel que tome de Emergencia en Male, si tendrían 10 estrellas se las podría con muchisimo gusto!!!! Me ayudaron al detalle en todo!!!!! Yo tenua problemas con el lenguaje y ellos se involucraron tanto en que yo este bien y eso al estar fuera en otro país, dice mucho de las personas que trabajan alli, al dia siguiente volví y volvería siempre, la habitacion super limpia, impecable todo!!!!! Me voy contenta por la ayuda recibida!

Limpo e bem localizado, mas muito pequeno

Equipe atenciosa e prestativa. Quarto limpo, mas muito pequeno para o valor. Área de banho não possui porta de vidro, água espalha para o quarto, que já é pequeno. Recomendo para quem precisa ficar 1 noite na capital para depois se deslocar até o aeroporto.

Niceau propreté c'était parfait, mais niveau superficie c'était presque un placard, même pas de place pour poser nos affaires, on a dû se servir du coin du lit pour poser nos sacs, et faire attention à ne pas se cogner en se déplaçant pour se preparer dans cette chambre, aucune ouverture du tout, lair ne circulait presque pas 😁

Good hotel

We arrived in Male late so stayed here for a night before going to a resort. The room was small, it smelt very nice! Breakfast was good and the area felt safe. We didn’t organise a transfer but happened to see a man with a Novina sign at the airport and he led us to the hotel’s taxi which was very convenient!

Awful. The room was dirty. Walls and bed linens were stained. There were ants on the danishes at Breakfast. When we tried to check out they tried to make us pay extra taxes and airport transfers even though we showed them that both were included in the price we paid to hotels.com. The manager was not here to help. He demanded that we pay or he would charge put card. Very unhappy.

Great value for money. The hotel is very central in the bustling Male. Room was small and clean but that is what we expected. Arrived four hours early and happy to pay US$15 to have room right away on a very hot day. Breakfast was good with choice of cerials, toast and an egg breakfast. Free shuttle to the airport was great.

Nice & convenient transit hotel in Male

We stayed in Lovina for our first and last night in Maldives. Free hotel transit was very handy. We also used their luggage storage for our big suitcases so we could travel to the islands light. Novina is conveniently located close to the jetty. There are quite a few restaurants and shops close to the hotel. Our room was small, without window but clean and equipped with everything we needed. The hotel staff are polite and helpful. We would stay again.

Aamupala ok, muuten ei vastannut odotuksia

Hotelli ei vastannut yhteenkään kolmesta e-mailista jotka lähetin koskien lentokenttäkuljetusta (hotels.comin viesti, hotellin oman kotisivun kautta, sähköpostitse lähettämääni). Menin hotelliin omakustanteisesti lautalla ja taksilla. Vastaanotossa kukaan ei pahoitellut tilannetta vaan vastaus oli yrititkö soittaa? En yrittänyt, ilmeisesti oma virheeni... Huone oli pieni ”kaupunkinäköalalla” joka oli yhtä kuin toisen talon seinä ikkunan edessä, ja jos kurkotti ikkunasta niin näki kadulle. Lakanoissa oli useita pesussa lähtemättömiä tahroja. TV-kanavien toimivuus sekä aamupala olivat hyvät. Aamulla kuljetuksen piti tulla hyvissä ajoin klo 9.30 koska silloin oli myös toisten majoittujoiden kuljetus (oma veneeni lähti klo 10.00), mutta klo 9.45 ei autoa näkynyt ja selitys oli ettei auto aina pääse tulemaan ajoissa?!? Matkaa lähtölaiturille ei ollut kuin max 4 min kävely, mutta matkatavoiden kanssa olin ajatellut kuljetuksen olevan kätevämpi, mutta koska en halunnut jäädä veneen kyydistä niin kävelin lopulta laiturille tavaroideni kanssa. Hotellin asiakaspalvelusta ei jäänyt positiivista kuvaa, tästä syystä peruin matkani viimeisen yön varaukseni kyseiseen hotelliin. Kuvat jotka hotellista ovat ilmoituksessa, ovat hyvin tyylitelty versio todellisuudesta. Koska oma huoneeni oli ”kaupunkinäköalalla” niin hotellin parvekkeelliset huoneet ovat kadulle päin, kadulle jossa on aamusta iltamyöhään auto/skootteriruuhkaa joten melua riittää.

Hotels.com stated that they have 24hrs transit from airport, I emailed them twice before departure but no one reply. I called Hotels.com at the airport and they told me the transit was closed. I have to go to the Novina by taxi. The hotel is tiny and the room is small. The hotel is nearby the Islamic Center, the public announcement @ 5:00AM woke me up. I asked them help to contact my resort to pick me up in next day morning but in vain. I have to wake up @6am and wait in the airport and contact myself. The breakfast provided is cheese sandwiches, 1 boiled egg and an orange only.
