I appreciate this hotel more after having now stayed at two places in Makassar. The AC is good, though the room does not have hot water. The internet is above average for Makassar (though that still is pretty slow). The only downside is that, for $20/night for one person, I feel like the price should include breakfast.

Wow - what a beautiful room! Large, clean and so contemporary - lovely city view but close to the popular Losari Beach and malecon! The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and advice.

great hotel, very clean -- but the receptionists I guess a little bit overload when it was in a rush hour check in and check out time so I suggest on those times, better add more personnels :) Overall, it was a pleasant experience to stay here

Close to the Losari Beach
The hotel was close to the beach only under 10 minutes walking distance. Room was ok nice and clean the shower is great good water pressure but the towels get replaced everyday was a bit of stained on it. Breakfast a little bit averages everyday Otherwise all good for the price you paid for.

It was a good stay at the center of the city. Staff was accomodating. Breakfast was overpriced at 7.500.000 for a sparse selelction. Good place.

Good place to nest while in Makassar
This is a nice, modern, clean hotel just a few blocks in from Losari Beach, and maybe 20 minutes walk to Fort Rotterdam. The restaurant serves very good food (we are vegetarian and had no issues at all), including a fine breakfast buffet each morning. Lots of TV channels; bottled water in the room; good cold a/c; comfy beds. Points off for (a) not having the driver waiting at the airport to pick us up as promised; phone calls and swimming through a swarm of taxi touts were required; (b) some ants in our room, but a bit of bug repellent spray at the entry hole fixed that; (c) children running up and down the halls screaming. Overall a good comfortable economical stay.

The hotel location is very strategic, near Losari Beach and Makassar's Food Centre. Service was great, smooth checking in. Room is spacious and nice. No problem with AC, electricity, water etc. Nice to stay in this hotel.

Good quality price hotel
I stayed at room 1100. Nice view. I can see trans studio makasar from my room. The location is perfect, only cost IDR 22000 to trans studio mall. The downside of this hotel is soundroofing. The call from the nearby mosgue is common in sulawesi : very LOUD (at 3.00am) Another disturbance is my room is beside a primary school, too much loud kids from 7.00 am until noon. Couldnt sleep even with eqrplugs and sleep pills. Breakfast not included, but there is a lot of restaurants nearby selling cheap food. No problem :)

While the hotel needs to improve in most areas, the kitchen needs help right away! ! Husband ordered fish and chips, and it come out very badly done: smelly fish android hard as rock( disappointing is an understatement). Then, husband tried milkshake. ..hahaha...it came out just barely cold chocolate milk. As one of Aston chains this is pitiful. I stayed for 6 days just because of the location.

Great quiet location
Great service from front desk personnel. The hotel has a van but seems to be for show only as the driver refuses to take you to the close by Mall. Stayed at this hotel few days prior and that gentleman took us to the Mall for a small fee. AC in the room working on low even set at 18*. Breakfast was cold and when all customers complaint about it, they put the burners on. Coffee warmer did not work so they made a fresh pot and replaced that also.very sad as that was enough to leave a bad impression even though everything else was good.

Op zich was het inchecken eenvoudig en vriendelijk. Helaas was er geen Bintang voorradig. Het ontbijt is Indonesisch maar erg gezouten. Algemene indruk matig. Kamers zijn echter ruim en schoon. Geen ijskast op kamer.

saya menginap di kamar 820, kamarnya luassss banget, baik kamar, wc dan ranjang semuanya bersih.. view dari kamar pun bagus melihat pantai losari plus masjid 99 kubah. Untuk sarapan juga oke, pelayanan karyawan resto dan receptionis juga oke. namun pada hari pertama menginap, saya call ke operator untuk meminta petugas massage datang.. ditunggu2 lama bgt ga datang dan akhirny saya telp lagi. operatornya bingung mengira petugas massage nya uda jalan, dan katanya mau dikabari lg. setelah lama, dicall lagi, msh belum ada kabar. lalu tiba2 petugas massage bilang uda kemaleman. padahal masih jam 22.20 dan katanya massage tutup jam 00.00. saya call dari jam 21.30.

Semua baik... kamar keluarga cukup besar... pemandangan ke arah pantai losari sangat indah. Sayang saja area kolam renang tidak ada tempat mandi. Juga ketika sudah cek out dan berenang tdk dikasi pinjam handuk malah suru bayar 50rb. Tidak menyenangkan! Breakfst harus order omlet/telur goreng tapi pelayan tdk menawarkan bahkan beberapa tdk tahu bisa order.
