"A very enjoyable 4 days stay particularly as I was able to acquire a portable A/C unit from the very helpful reception staff - I arrived in 38C!! Located within walking distance of everything in beautiful Angers but very quiet as it’s in the University zone. There’s a supermarket minutes away as are lovely walks along the river to the château. The room itself was pristine and comfortable. Ticked all my boxes and hope to return again next year."

"Parts of the hotel were lovely. Room & beds were clean. Bathroom was tired. Sink was missing a leg and there was a lot of debris in the base of the light above the mirror. Very helpful and kind staff. Private closed parking was very useful."

"This was a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It only gets a 4 out of 5 because there was no a/c and if we used the kitchen there would have been an additional charge, which we were not aware of. Otherwise, it suited us perfectly. Very clean and comfortable."

"What a beautiful hotel! And Johanna was the perfect host from start to finish. So welcoming and able to accommodate an earlier than normal check-in. Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to hear the story behind the hotel renovation. Truly one of the loveliest hotel experiences we have had and will be our first choice for any return visit to Angers. Thanks Johanna fir making our stay so special!"

"Nice room with en-suite. The shower was rather awkward to use as it did not have a high wall mounting but that was the only inconvenience we had. No a/c but a fan was provided although we bought our own small fans which were much quieter. Breakfast was fresh with lots of things to choose from. The central location was important to us as was the proximity of parking. The hotel car park was full on arrival but there are two public car parks one above and one below ground within a 5 min walk. We would happily return if staying in Angers again."
