We love this place
We had excellent communications with the owner. He was very helpful in arranging everything and in answering all of our questions. His kind mother Lisette made us a delicious Creole meal and was very helpful with any questions that we had during our almost three week stay. The air conditioning and hot water were great and it was very convenient to have a washing machine there. The location is great since the beach is just across the street and is not heavily populated. The water is very clean and clear. There is a little market right there too. We would definitely stay here again!

Be a Seychelles local
This place was pretty much perfect for our family. We were travelling on a budget and we like to have our own space and look after ourselves mostly. If you want a 5 star hotel with people fawning over you all the time, you won't like this place. But if you want to feel like you live in Seychelles for a little while, this place is great. Lisette looked after us while we stayed. She was friendly and very helpful when we needed her. Most days this just meant she would take our rubbish out. Other days it meant replacing something that happened to break while we were there. She made us some amazing local food a few times too! We hired a car and I recommend any visitor to do so too. But this place is right next to a grocery store, across the road from a fruit stall, across the road from a beach that was excellent for our toddler, right next to a road that goes to the other side of the island, one minute walk from a takeaway shop, around the corner from more shops and a restaurant that was just opening, down the street from a community centre with a play ground and basketball court. Visitors can't use the bus during Covid but the stop is right outside. One negative was the 30minute drive to the main side of the island which we had to do several times and that's only bad because of the mountain roads. Another negative was people who visit the shops litter in the yard. As a tip, you should hire a car and maybe spend a little more than the minimum to do so. You will be driving to lots of other locations and the roads are tough on little old cars. The yard area was good. There was a large umbrella with table and chairs and my wife worked out there in her laptop most days. The yard could be better kept but our daughter wasn't complaining. The house is close to Lisette's house and another friendly neighbour, part of a little compound. There are other experiences with this house that are what you expect if you live like a Seychelles local for a couple of weeks. It is not a fancy hotel or even like a small town in our home country, but was a nice enough place. The internet was a little difficult for us. There were two networks in the house but the unlimited free one was often slow. The other one was limited and we didn't figure out how to use it on every device. I recommend the owner put in a wifi extender as a cheap solution or a new unlimited connection which might not be affordable due to low occupancy due to Covid. We would stay here again.

The best place in Seychelles. Just WOW!
This is a cute and cozy cottage just across from the beach. True, it's not the best beach on the island, but it's a BEACH within 15 seconds walk, and sunsets there are amazing. Small supermarket and bus-stop are right outside. AirCon is strong and good. Hosts are lovely and helpful. This is probably the best value for your money in all of Seychelles. And just because the price is fair doesn't mean you have to compromise quality. It's super comfortable and the location is super as well. There are busses to the best, most beautiful, and most private beaches on the island and they pass quite frequently to bring you to all your paradise-beach options. It's a truly wonderful place to stay. Try it yourself!

modest but charming self catering apartment in Mahe
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The apartment is modest but fully equipped with everything you would need for self-catering and having the supermarket next door is extremely convenient. The owner Lisette is very nice, we initially had some issues with the internet but she helped us immediately. The location is ideal: the bus stop is right outside the flat and Lisette provided bus timetables. We had originally planned to rent a car but found it easy to travel all over the island by bus. The flat is situated on Anse Boileau, it is not the nicest beach on the island but we definitely enjoyed early-evening dips in the (unbelievably warm) ocean watching amazing sunsets. If you are looking for a peaceful place away from the touristic area and you want to have a better sense of the Seychelles culture this is the ideal accommodation for you.

Sorry to hear that our property was not to the highest standard that you were expecting. We are a low budget accommodation, and we do meet the required standard from the government which carry out an inspection regularly. We have had a lot of satisfied guests, with some that even come back every year or twice a year. To say that the property is a tourist trap is very unfair.

Vacances incroyable !
Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Anse Boileau, la maison est très propre et très fonctionnelle (la clim dans les chambres au top), accès au wifi, la maison est très bien situé à deux pas de la mer (très belle plage) magasin d'alimentation à coté, arrêt de bus si besoin ! Nous avions une voiture de location et nous avons pu rentrer notre voiture dans la propriété avec portail fermé. Nous avons été accueilli par Lisette une femme adorable qui nous a donné de très bons conseils durant notre séjour d'ailleurs un grand MERCI Lisette de votre bienveillance :-) Juste une petite remarque, le temps étant très variable aux Seychelles peut-être couvrir la terrasse (ou il y a la table) pour pouvoir manger dehors ;-) Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour et découvert une île magnifique ! Nous reviendrons chez vous avec un grand plaisir !

Una casetta semplice ma con tutto ciò che occorre, biancheria, lavatrice, stoviglie varie. La padrona di casa gentilissima e discreta abita nella casa accanto è una sera ci ha anche preparato una cena creola ! Posizione ideale per visitare tutte le spiagge più belle in pochi minuti di macchina. Proprio davanti casa ce n’è una stupenda frequentata solo da pochi pescatori locali con acque basse e calde. Dietro casa un negozio per qualunque necessità, di fronte casa la fermata del bus. Siamo stati benissimo.

Nieruchomość położona jest przy głównej drodze i plaży. Blisko do sklepu. Take away 100 metrów. Hałas z drogi rekompensuje bliskość plaży, sklepu i take away. Dobrze jest wynająć samochód na czas pobytu. Właścicielka domu jest bardzo miła i uprzejma.

La casa ed esattamente come nel annuncio , vicino alla spiaggia , alla stazione del autobus che e il punto forte per spostarsi in economia ( il biglietto costa poco ) . Noi abbiamo visitato tutte le spiagge di Mahe o quasi. Il posto meraviglioso , il proprietario Ray molto disponibile e gentile ( anche la sua mamma Lisette). Noi torneremo sicuramente perché dobbiamo ancora vedere Praslin, La Digue.

Le logement est conforme à la description, on s'y sent bien, comme à la maison. Tout y est pour passer de confortables vacances "chez l'habitant". Le fait que notre fille avait une vraie chambre à elle est un vrai plus. Lisette est absolument adorable, rien que pour faire sa connaissance cela vaut la peine d'y séjourner. Elle est chaleureuse, disponible (nous avons bien pu discuter avec elle de son pays et de l'art de vivre seychellois), flexible (elle a accepté que nous quittions le logement plus tard que prévu du fait de nos horaires de retour et que ce n'était pas loué après nous) et elle cuisine admirablement bien (ce fut le meilleur repas de notre séjour!). Idéalement situé à Anse Boileau, nous avons facilement pu visiter aussi bien le Nord que le Sud. L'arrêt de bus est juste devant ce qui est pratique quoique un peu bruyant, mais on s'y habitue vite et cela n'a rien à voir avec le vacarme des villes. Nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain voyage aux Seychelles, pour nous il est inutile de chercher ailleurs. Merci encore Lisette et à bientôt! XXX

Amazing Holiday!
We stayed for 15 days the apartment is as described, Lisette is a careful and helpful person as well as a great cook cooking great fish for us. Raynold the owner friendly and helpful He solved some small misunderstanding. The house is a stone's throw from the sea and equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend it to couples and families but I recommend to equip yourself with a car even if the house is near to shops. Thanks again to Raynold and Lisette for this fantastic holiday. Hat wirklich Spass gemacht
Danke Lisette und Ihrer großen Familie hat der Aufenthalt sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Der Shop direkt nebenan ist super zum Einkaufen und der Strand auf der anderen Seite der Strasse hat den Kindern viel Spaß beim Baden und Schnorcheln gebracht. Außerdem war er meist menschenleer. Desweiteren ist es ein idealer Ausgangsort um die Insel zu erkunden.

Anse Boileau top, Haus solala
Der Anse Boileau Strand ist sehr schön und liegt direkt hinter der Straße. Der Strand ist durch ein Riff geschützt. Im Ort ist man von Jetskis, Speedbooten und Händlern verschont. Lisette war sehr freundlich und hat uns immer wieder etwas zum Essen geschenkt. Nebenan hat im Februar ein Supermarkt eröffnet. Eine größere Auswahl von Gemüse, Obst und Fisch haben wir nur in Victoria gefunden. 800m südlich vom Haus gibt es ein Take Away mit Kreolische Gerichten. Es gibt eine Sitzgruppe östlich vom Haus mit einem Sonnenschirm. Daneben wird gerade ein neues Haus gebaut und die Bewohner können später direkt hinunterschauen auf dem Sitzplatz. Auch durch das Tor der Vermieterin kann man von der Küstenstrasse aus einsehen, d.h. es gibt wenig Privatsphäre. Der Sitzplatz wird bei Sonnenschein sehr heiß, weil es keine schattenspendenen Bäume gibt. Der ganze Sitzplatz sieht aus wie ein Industrieinnenhof. Auf dem Grundstück südlich vom Haus ist ein Umspannwerk. Die Hochspannungsleitungen gehen direkt über das Haus. Die Küstenstraße ist laut. In den Nachtstunden wird es ruhiger aber der Berufsverkehr fängt ca. 4:30 Uhr an. Ein Schlafzimmer hat eine 190x140cm Matraze und das 2. Zimmer zwei 190x90cm dünne Schaumstoffmatrazen, alles auf Sperrholzplatten. Alle Matrazen sind etwas durchgelegen. Die in der Hausbeschreibung erwähnte Alarmanlage gibt es nicht mehr, auch keinen Safe. Das Haus hat einen Prepaid Internetanschluß von Intelvision. Der Vermieter stellt 1GB zur Verfügung, auf der Login-Seite kann man mit einer Kreditkarte mehr erwerben. Den Fernseher haben wir nur einmal eingeschaltet. Es kam immer die Fehlermeldung, dass eine "active subscription" von Intelvision fehlt. Die Küche war sehr verschmutzt als wir gekommen sind. Die Flächen klebten von Fett, so dass sogar kleine Fliegen festklebten. Es ist nicht hinnehmbar, dass ein Gast den Schmutz von unzähligen Vormieter wegputzen muss. Der Gasherd hat keine Gassicherung, d.h. wenn eine Flamme duch z.B. einen Windstoß ausgeht, strömt das Gas weiter aus. Es gab mehrere Mängel im Haus: - Lampe über dem Spülbecken defekt - kein passender Stöpsel für das Spülbecken - Duschkopfhalterung im Bad abgebrochen - Duschkopf der Aussendusche abgebrochen - Fuss des Fernsehers defekt. - Wohnzimmerschranktüren verhaken Bei einer Monatsmiete von 2000 Euro kann man erwarten, dass die Mängel vor dem nächsten Gast behoben werden. I will look into the matter to ensure that this does not reoccur. All other defective have been noted and will be taken care of. In regards to the internet, as per my understanding, Intelvision is now offering 3GB of data instead of the 1GB. Moving forward, some changes regarding the data allowance has now been implemented, therefore giving our client more data depending on length of stay. Wunderschön und super Lage
Wir haben 8 Tage von unserem 14 tägigen Seychellen Urlaub hier in diesen tollen Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Lage ist super, der Bus hält direkt vor dem Haus, wir haben uns aber für das mieten eines Autos entscheiden damit wir flexibel bleiben und so viel wie möglich von der Insel sehen können. Das Ferienhaus hat alles was man sich wünscht, und die Mutter von Raynold besitzt noch ein kleines Lädchen wo man sich alles kaufen kann, was man eben für ein Frühstück braucht. Der Strand ist wie auch auf den Bildern nur 20 Meter entfernt und wenn man Abends dann die Fenster offen hat, kann man das Rauschen des Meeres hören. Traumhaft! Raynold thank you so much for all the great time what we had in your house and with the kids from your brother and the time with the grandmother. You have a amazing family and a great place to stay.

Maisonnette au cœur de Mahé
Maisonnette indépendante en bord de plage d'anse Boileau et de route. Très bien équipée, clim dans les chambres très efficace. Douche un peu vieillotte. Table de jardin permettant de déguster les petits plats préparés par Lisette la propriétaire très sympathique . supérette neuve juste à côté très pratique pour les petits achats . Grande plage en face et bus devant la maison pratique pour faire le tour de l'île . Du coup location plutôt bruyante.

Situé à Anse Boileau sud-ouest de MAHE petite maison en bord de route sans être trop bruyante, mais un peu vieillotte, pas beaucoup de charme, un peu radin pour les équipements de cuisine. Mais son grand point positif c'est LISETTE qui se met en quatre pour vous aider, renseigner, donner du poisson..... En conclusion rapport qualité prix très intéressant et situation au top pour la découverte de MAHE

Ottima sistemazione
La casa è esattamente come mostrato nell'annuncio, indipendente sui 4 lati di cui 2 attrezzati con tavoli e sedie esterni in cui preparare degli ottimi barbecue. Il punto forte della casa è la funzionalità e la praticità, non manca nulla per avere un buon soggiorno .Lisette è una persona gentile e disponibile. La vicinanza alla spiaggia e alla strada può far sì che ci sia a volte qualche rumore ma c'è anche da dire che di notte si dorme con il suono delle onde del mare....! Il rapporto qualità prezzo è davvero molto elevato, e noi abbiamo passato una vacanza meravigliosa. Grazie ai proprietari, e speriamo di tornare!

Unser Aufenthalt in Anse Boileau war perfekt, dank der netten Umsorgung der Vermieter.
Reisen Sie gerne einfach und sind dafür lieber nahe an den Menschen vor Ort? Dann sind Sie hier genau richtig. Die Oceanside Villa ist liebevoll eingerichtet und in bester Lage um den Strand zu geniessen und mit Bus die Insel zu erkunden. Dank der netten Gastgeberin Lisette, fühlten wir uns schon am ersten Abend wie zu Hause.

Agencement simple mais très fonctionnel qui correspond parfaitement au descriptif. Très bon accueil. L'espace extérieur est un peu limité, avec beaucoup de vis à vis qui crée un manque d'intimité parfois. Bien situé pour découvrir la zone Ouest et Sud de l'île.

déçu , pas à la hauteur par rapport au prix.
Très déçu par la location, j'ai choisi cette petite maison en me fiant aux avis.Pour moi trop de promiscuite avec la propriétaire qui est d'ailleurs très gentille . Très proche de la route principale 2metres env , donc beaucoup de bruits le matin et le soir. De plus la propriétaire tient juste un magasin à 5m de la location et le soir des jeunes viennent boire sur le côté du magasin et font du bruit jusqu'à 23h. Quand à la petite maison, les chambres sont propres mais la cuisine , moyennement propre, ,cuisiniere pleine de graisse , vaisselle mais surtout casseroles , vetustes et pas très propre. Les photos sont trompeuses, on ne voit rien aux alentours alors qu'il y a juste la propriétaire a côté un petit immeuble en construction et un mur qui separe la location de la route.Sinon la propriétaire est très gentille mais pour moi pas suffisant par rapport aux désagréments cités ci dessus.

Je suis désolé d'entendre que vous étiez pas satisfice avec votre séjour avec nous. Je comprends que, pendant votre séjour, il y avait quelques problèmes. Selon ma compréhension, au cours de la période de votre séjour, les Seychelles était en préparation pour l'élection présidentielle, et les parties concernées faisaient de leur campagne, ce qui a donc provoquer un peu de bruit et la perturbation. En ce qui concerne l'arrêt de bus, cela est hors de nos mains, mais nous avons mis ce problème au ministère nécessaire pour essayer de trouver une solution. Désolé de le dire, mais il est pas juste de dire que nos photos sont trompeuses, Tout l'image affichée exactement comment il est à l'intérieur du chalet, en ce qui concerne le coucher du soleil, ces photo a été prise par moi-même sur la plage à côté du chalet. Nous avons le Conseil Seychelles Tourisme qui visitent le chalet tous les quelques mois, afin d'assurer que le chalet est à norme raisonnable. Nous aurions reconnaissants si vous nous aviez conseillé sur toutes les questions que vous aviez pendant votre séjour, afin que nous puissions rectifier eu tout de suite. Une fois de plus, je fais des excuses, si notre chalet était pas à la norme que vous attendiez. Nous ne prenons vos conseils et critiques à bord, car il va nous aider à améliorer. Je vous remercie.
