"Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. Margo makes it seem effortless but...

"Very friendly people. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast prepared as requested, no fuss and excellent quality. I was going into town (10 mins. Walk) it was raining heavily and immediately offered to drive me up. Could not ask for more from a guesthouse stay and will definitely go back if in the area. 4 night stay was a pleasure - thankyou👍"

"The receptionist was friendly, the room was clean. The room is very very basic. Mattress not good, very soft. Shower cubicle very small, toilet sit would fall on your back each time and very uncomfortable toilet sit, the hotel smelt musty. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfast didn’t start until 9am which is to late for us as we are on a business trip. Need refurbishing really "
