Ballyrobin Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I am in love with this place. I arrived early and got lunch, it was £30 for early check in, so I was advised I could sit in the lobby or I could get some food. I opted for food, which costthe £30 for 3 courses of the most beautiful homemade, rustic food, in a restaurant that was decorated like my house, playing the most chilled playlist. I have never felt more welcomed or at home. I was then advised when I could check in, which I did. The room was a good size, lots of storage, air-conditioning, TV - that whilst older worked really well and had lots of channel options, tea making facilities - lots of milk and options that I took advantage of, two bottles of Irish spring in water, the room was clean and felt comfortable, the bed is firm - which I love but others may not. The bathroom had everything but conditioner, and the water temperature was consistent. There was a little bit of staining in the toilet and a spide, this didn't bother me, but I know others would be picky about it. I struggle travelling alone, but I have never felt more at home, the staff were lovely, especially the woman who I initially spoke to, I am unsure if she was the owner or manager, but she seemed to come across as the boss, she was so warm and made me feel entirely at home. I left before breakfast, but I have no doubt this would have been amazing too! I would definitely recommended and would definitely stay again!"

Armagh City Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Armagh City Hotel is a pleasant place to stay in Armagh. The reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient, and the room was clean and adequate. However, the carpets in the reception area could do with a good clean, as this would create a much better first impression for guests. The breakfast selection was also quite limited if you don't eat a traditional fry. By 7:30 am, there was no yoghurt available, which was disappointing. I had specifically booked the hotel because I wanted to use the leisure centre, but unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to do so as the opening times were too restrictive. Overall, the hotel was comfortable and the staff were excellent, but there are a few areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience."
