This hotel is located in one of the best areas in Madrid. There is so much to do and see in this area alone. Downtown is a half hour walk away from the city centre. Across the street there are several restaurants that serve North American food in case you are craving a taste from home.

I don't think I would go back or recommend this place to many people. The only target audience for this place should be smokers. I had already seen reciews about a cigarette smell in the rooms, however I was hoping this was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, upon my arrival it became pretty evident my room was one of the unlucky cigarette smelling rooms. I did complain with the staff an I was informed they would use an ozone machine to get rid off the smell, but for that I had to leave the room... something not that simple when the hotel does not have a safe and you are traveling with valuables. During my stay I also encountered another guest complaining about the same issue. AC did not seem to work either. The staff on the other hand were polite. It felt like they were trying to work with what they had. The restaurant service was very accommodating and brakfast was simple but covered all the basics.

We've stayed here 3 times and it's good for dogs and generally friendly and helpful. This time theres been a total renovation and it's lovely. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable stopover hotel.
Ideal stopover between Santander ferry and Southern Spain. VERY comfortable bed, which was huge! Only downside was refurbishment of restaurant but staff were great and breakfast was up to Ibis standard if a bit cramped! Would use again.

Quiet stay close to the airport
Close to the Madrid airport, about 10 minutes but not at airport prices. Clean and quiet room with a queen size bed! Yeah!!Also a grocery store next door with a great selection of cheese and dried Jamon.

Friendly and efficient staff
Overall the hotel is well run and well managed. It is very clean and newly refurbished to a very high standard. I had some issues as regards the time it took to check in but realised this was down staff members attempting to help many people at a busy time. Parking and a small park Is located close bye

We liked it
Ibis as expected (and this means good!). Clean and comfy, good location for airport and to explore the charming Alcala de Henares (short drive or long walk to the center, plus archeological site right near the hotel). Parking is outside, so you can somehow manage even if all "normal" spots are taken.

Was okay. Perfect for a one-night stay before or after a flight, although it is a bit of a drive to and from the airport. Ample free parking, good internet and an okay breakfast. (I'd recommend it since there aren't many options available in the area). Excellent value for the price. Careful though - Expedia says there is no check-in after midnight. We rushed only to find out that there is someone there for check-in 24/7. They just lock the main doors and buzz you in.

Pet friendly, ibis always clean and comfortable.
One night while travelling north. Pet friendly and we have 2 dogs. Open ground nearby for dog walking. Limited food available and is microwaved but it was tasty.

Good hotel for Madrid airport
Good location for flying from Madrid airport. 18 minutes by car. Free parking. Beds on wheels can easily move...area a little industrial.

Further out from the airport than expected but that was partly my own problem. 20 minute taxi ride at night, nearly an hour in the rush hour! Not a restaraunt on site as you would expect it. Only meals available at night were bar snacks and a very small menu that was all cooked in a microwave! 3 white wines on the menu, but only one available.

Pleasantly Surprised!
This was our first time in Madrid. We’ve stayed at Ibis hotels before and just like this one, never had a problem, with service, cleanliness, breakfast options and helpful concierge staff. The train station is close but a little further than I like, but it was stil convenient. Probably a 12-15 minute walk! I would definitely stay her again!

We chose Ibis for its proximity to family and competitive price. The room and bed were very comfortable though there was not a variety of pillow thicknesses offered. We had a problem with the door lock one night ( it needed a new battery), but the issue was resolved courteously and efficiently by staff

Nice basic hotel close to the airport without dealing with Madrid traffic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but not tiny. About 15 - 20 minutes away from airport. The town of Alcala de Henares is a very interesting and fun place to visit.

great value hotel for airport convenience
The hotel was clean and comfortable with a pleasant and helpful staff. It was 20 minutes from the airport and about a mile from the old city of Alcala de Henares. We spent a great Friday evening strolling the old streets and eating dinner at one of the many outdoor cafes/restaurants. Also enjoyed looking at the storks in their nests on the city walls.

My wife and I wanted to view Madrid, however we felt this hotel was a little further out then we would have liked, It wasn't that far from the airport (20 minutes I think). and there were a few fast food restaurants that were within walking distance...KFC Burger King and it was nice that 2 supermarkets were next door. Overall I would recommend, based on good customer service, very comfortable beds and free parking.

We chose Ibis for its proximity to family,who live locally. We spent most of our time with them.However, both train station for trains to Madrid and also bus stop for Alcala de Henares were very close. The room was very suitable for us and we liked the desk area under the window, however if we had been spending more time in our room, we would have welcomed more space around the bed and an easy chair.
