Near the La Cruz street , there are the most beautiful squares of the center of Madrid, as is the square of Santa Ana and Puerta Del Sol.

Our apartment that is located on this street, it has 45 square meters designed for you to enjoy Madrid with 1 Bedroom with double bed, Kitchen full equipped 1 bathroom and the social area with a sofa bed.

It has mini markets nearby (just around the corner.)

It has WIFI and an electric boiler of 65 liters of hot water.

The metro station in really close and can connect to you also with the train, in Sol station or in Atocha, or the Madrid´s Airport.

Good for 2-3 nights NOT A QUIET LOCATION!!!!

Please read ENTIRE review. The hosts were great! The apartment was acceptably furnished for a VRBO. We like to take a VRBO as a 'base camp', then tour the city where we rent and take 1 to 3-day trips elsewhere. This location was great for touring around Madrid. BUT!!!! While the apartment is convenient, it is located above a bar that regularly plays loud music until 1, 2 or 3 in the morning. Our last night the music did not stop until 5am!!!!! There is also a disco that plays until 1 or 2, a short distance away. Despite having double windows and a shutter in the bedroom the music made it difficult to sleep. Overall, this unit is great for 2-3 nights. After that the bed really gets uncomfortable and the music requires earplugs to sleep.

Comfortable flat in a very central area, within close walking distance of Sol. All the basic amenities for a short stay. Ideal for all the bars / restaurants around, which tend to be popular until late at night!

Could be better

Although the small apartment is exactly as described the location does have a lot of noise at night. Did not bother me and we were aware from previous reviews. It is not as bad if you completely close all windows but if you need silence to sleep this location is not for you. The communication with the host is excellent however the local company (stayinflat) uses a sophisticated system of online keys to open the building as well as the (two) doors to access the apartment. If you rely on wifi and don’t have an international phone plan or you are not good at technology go somewhere else or you will be calling your host from the apartment frequently.

Appartement correct mais invivable à cause du BRUIT.

L’accès à l’appartement est d’un compliqué!!! Procédure avec 3 codes uniquement par lien internet . 2 clés auraient été dans une boîte à code !!! Tellement plus simple! Doublage baies vitrées séjour inexistant . Impossible de fermer l’œil l’appartement est situé juste en dessous d’un bar qui fonctionne jusqu’à 4 h du matin! La rue est bondée de monde la nuit.

Yolanda nos dio las instrucciones para entrar en el apartamento de manera telemática y siempre se mostró disponible, aunque no nos vimos porque no fue necesario. El piso es como se muestra en el anuncio. Las ventanas del dormitorio están insonorizadas, pero por las del salón se cuela el ruido de los locales de la calle por la noche. Sobre la ubicación, increíble, en el mismo centro de Madrid.

Unique and enchanting Madrid!

Our one-month stay was our best vacation ever! Starting with Yolanda, our wonderful host, our spectacular location in Barrio de Las Letras, two blocks from El Sol (Madrid transportation hub), one block to Plaza Santa Ana. Too many Tapas bars and Restaurants to count right on our door! We enjoyed the best that Madrid has to offer (and it has a lot!!). Best location. Best host. Great apartment, luminous, spacious, excellent AC. We are already planning to be back for a longer stay next year! See you soon, Yolanda!

Totally disappointed

We have rented many times before thru VRBO and never had a bad experience but this time a new company “ Stop in flat” became involved and it was awful. The apartment was not up to the standards of VRBO. The Owner didn’t refund the deposit even though we didn’t do anything wrong to validate her refusal. Stop in flat is not a good partner of your excellent company.
