"The staff was initially ambiguous regarding their early check in policies, there is a “ first come first serve “ policy I personally have not encountered when traveling, staff stated thy would notify when the room was ready, however upon returning to the property 5 hours post arrival it appeared they were going to provide the “ ready “ room to a patron under said policy. I did not receive the “ ready room “ notification until an hour after I had already procured my room key. The room itself was located parallel to the elevator which became a nuisance due to foot traffic. The overall property was well kept, updates are welcoming. "

"Parking was easy but expensive, which is to be expected in Seattle. The hotel was fine for our needs. The thermostat wasn’t working properly but we were there for 2 nights and worked around the problem. An elevator was out of service which made wait times a little longer but again, not a huge inconvenience. We didn’t eat at the restaurants in the hotel because there are endless choices around. The staff were welcoming and checkin was quick and easy. We’ll be staying again next month for Phantom of the Opera, so we’ll see how the second time goes. Overall, no complaints about the hotel. "

"Beautiful, classic high-end feel. Heated pool and accommodating spa/salon. Room was very spacious, but the shower/ bath was small & dated. Very easy access to Pike Street and Symphony light rail."

"This is small, cute hotel in a convenient neighborhood location. It is not staffed at night. They communicated well regarding after-hours access. My ONLY complaint is the use of silly, 5-button wall timers for EVERY light switch. I walked into a dark room and could not figure out the three wall devices next to the door. (5-button timer for the overhead light, a thermostat that should be located elsewhere, and some other wall timer. The lights in the room went off as I was taking a shower and the timer in the toilet room went off when I was sitting on the toilet. You can't see what all the different timer buttons mean. Which is the longest time; which is the shortest time? And to top it off, the thermostat for the heat has 10 miniscule buttons on it. I had to put on reading glasses and the use the flashlight on my phone to figure out to turn on the heat. After the hassle of all the light timers, I realized as I left, that the largest energy consumers of all, the heater and TV had no timers. I was too lazy to put on reading glasses and use my phone again to turn off the heat as I left, so note to owner: KEEP IT SIMPLE. I would definitely stay again, but don't forget your glasses!"
