"Davis Brook Retreat is not to be missed! The property is stunning, peaceful, and had everything you could need. The hot tub was amazing! Feels very remote while also being less than a 10 minute drive into town. The owners also gave us some great hiking recommendations! Would 100% stay here again. "

"This hotel is currently undergoing a much needed facelift. Our room had been redone. The space was clean albeit a bit stark. It could have used some artwork on the walls to make it feel less clinical. Perhaps this is still in the works with the renos. There were two other thigg by s that were a bit odd; the baseboard heat in the bathroom is right below the cabinet so when it’s on, the stone counter for the vanity gets quite hot, and the “curtain” was an accordion style piece of cloth which was taped to the window from the top. There was no way to open the curtain. We ordered dinner in from the restaurant next door which was decent. They were very accommodating for our dog and only charged us a $20 dog fee which is pretty reasonable. "

"Didn't see host. After brief power outage, a blue light on stove continued to blink for the rest of the days. TV program abruptly shut off. Telus issue I believe. try well equipped, but some of the furniture was dusty. Hot tub was great and covered deck worked well for us. Parking a little tight. No outdoor lights unless I missed the inside switch- no outside motion lights."

"Wonderful place, the room is spacious with a full kitchen and I highly recommended the Moonshine Spa, which is located on the property and very reasonably priced. I've been here twice and will probably come here again !"
