We only stayed 1 night but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. It is a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants.

Great experience all around
Seu Antônio is very friendly and caring. He made everything possible to accommodate any requests I had. The family works really hard in the restaurant and hotel. Breakfast was simple but very good and fresh. The area is very central in Machico, 5 minutes walk from the beach. Many restaurants and grocery stores around, within 10 min walking. There’s also a great co working space at the Machico Forum (3 minutes from the hotel) in case you’re in Madeira working remote. Wifi was great! Works excellent. The room was very clean. The single room is more outdated, but the double room was great and had a nice balcony facing the ocean. I could fall asleep listening to the waves. Would definitely stay there again, affordable and overall great accommodation.

Good if you are taking flight. Close from airport. Cheap and clean good option if you are tight on budget. We got room at 3rd floor walk up. Not something I prefer with luggage. Parking was bad. No parking available.

Well run exceptionally clean hotel
The hotel is beautifully clean. It seems to be cleaned from top to bottom every day. The breakfasts are nice, lovely eggs, cooked different ways each day, scrambled, boiled and fried in rotation. Lovely fresh bread and fabulous coffee. Our rooms' good sized balcony had an incredible view of the beaches. Only one downside, was the price of 2 glasses of red wine we ordered when we arrived was 7.90€. We live in mainland Portugal and wine in restaurants there is around 1€ a glass, so it was a bit of a shock. The price of wine in the supermarkets were same as Portugal mainland so just couldn't understand why it was so expensive. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food at reasonable prices. We had the Black Scabbard fish which was amazing. We had clean sheets and towels virtually everday, personally I'd have preferred the linen changed less frequently to be kinder to the environment. Overall, a well run, lovely hotel and restaurant.

Residencial com Ambiente familiar, super atenciosos, pessoas extremamente simpáticas. O alojamento sempre limpo e arrumado todos os dias. Sítio calmo e tranquilo. Recomendo a 200% o alojamento e o restaurante, jantamos lá todos os dias, comida típica, muito bem confecionada e atendimento 5 estrelas.

Accueil très sympathique pourtant nous sommes arrivés quasiment à minuit! Chambre simple avec une télévision cathodique vintage. Literie un peu dure et bruyante. Petit dejeuner copieux très bon pain. Près de la mer et des restaurants.

We booked a room with a balcony and view to the sea but got a room with no balcony, only a little window and no see view. Would Not have taken this hotel if we new in advance what kind of room we would get. The staff was nice.

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit Meeresblick
Ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber, leckeres Frühstück, sehr hochwertiger Kaffee. Die Lage ist perfekt, ca. 5 Minuten Gehweg vom Strand und Stadtzentrum entfernt. Hervorragende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sowie Taxistand direkt vor der Tür. Eine Bushaltestelle ist ca. 3-6 Minuten Gehweg entfernt. Die Restaurants befinden sich ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe, aber auch direkt in der Unterkunft finden Sie ein leckeres, sehr familiäres Lokal. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, sind sehr hell und geräumig, außerdem sehr sauber. Man wird täglich mit frischen Handtüchern und sauberer Bettwäsche versorgt. Das Bad hat ein Fenster, sowie einen sehr bequemen Schrank, wo man alles unterbringen kann und eine sehr breite Duschkabine, was sehr angenehm ist. Ein Balkon mit Meeres Blick und Möglichkeit den Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten oder für gemütliche Abende - ist vorhanden. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Spricht sehr gut deutsch und englisch und ist immer bereits zu helfen und zu unterstützen. Residencial Família hat unser Urlaub in Machico noch viel schöner und angenehmer gemacht und wir kommen sehr gern wieder! Vielen Dank! Grüße aus Hamburg!

séjour de 3 jours à Machico
enregistrement un peu compliqué, pas de chambre à notre nom alors que nous avions réservé depuis 6 mois! séjour très agréable avec une chambre avec balcon donnant sur la baie. chambre très propre et ménage fait tous les jours petit déjeuner très correct ainsi que le restaurant de l'hotel.
