Apartments in Madeira Island

"This apartment was located just steps away from the waterfront in this seaside town. It was spacious, comfortable and had a well appointed kitchen with a washing machine (bonus!!). Our host was very friendly and pointed us to some great restaurants. Just one negative … because it is so central, the weekend evenings tended to be loud until around 11pm. "

Although there are no staff on site, check in was smooth, and we felt secure with the locked doors we had to go through to keep residents safe. For the most part, we had timely responses to queries to staff if we had questions hotel/room/airport transportation as needed. "

"Great location and newly renovated property. Looks just like photos. Excellent communication throughout thank you. A few things that could have been improved - no tea towels provided/ or cleaning product to wipe sides down in the kitchen- no chopping board had to use a plate - no hooks either in bathroom, bedroom or living room. No where to hang towels to dry or coats -the bathroom has a drain smell that was not nice. Also in the bathroom the shower does not seem to have sealant on the outside...

Patricia greeted us and explained everything about the apartment and some tips regarding the area. She was delightful. Olivier checked to ensure everything went smoothly and wished us a farewell. As Americans living in Portugal I would recommend this apartment."
