"The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk. The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water. The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro. The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads,cheese and fruit. All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!"

"Fabulous hotel. We splashed out on a sea view suite and it was well worth the extra. The hotel is split either side of a road with a bridge walkway so it made a real difference being on the coast side, overlooking the pool. The room size was generous for two friends sharing. With a lovely kitchenette area that was exceptionally equipped; toaster, fridge, hob, dishwasher, everything you need if you want to do the odd meal in your room…… not that you’d need to. The bar/restaurant on site was good and not over priced, and there were so many great restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was lovely, plenty of shaded spots and easy access directly into the sea. Overall, we had the most wonderful mini break. Definitely worth spending on the suite!!!!"

We enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The views were amazing and staff were top notch. We also enjoyed the happy hour and had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. One of our best dinners in Madeira! We greatly enjoyed our stay the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be recommending the hotel to others and hope to come back and enjoy in the future. Thank you. "This hotel beat all our expectations. Localist a little set back from the harbour up a steep hill but the view was amazing. Getting about was really easy. We used the local bus services for getting up and down the hill which was about £1.20 each per trip but taxi or Uber were available. It was possible to walk into town (about 20 minutes) if you are fit enough. The breakfast buffet was amazing, not only for the food available but there was a pianist playing most days creating a very nice ambiance. There was also a Harris Hawk and handler employed to keep the pigeons away. We have travelled all over and breakfast here was 10/10. Our room was extremely comfortable, roomy and well serviced. Pools and hot tub were great (unheated but lovely in September). All staff encountered were lovely and very helpful with advice about tours etc. All things considered a great hotel."
