There was absolutely zero privacy in a room on the third floor on October 6th, 2023. The blinds on the windows/door facing the pool area did not cover ANYTHING. There was about an inch and a half gap all around the window for anybody walking by to see in from a foot and a half away. It was even worse if you were standing in the bathroom/vanity area, since the path is angled there anybody walking up the walkway from the eleevator has a FULL view of anybody naked inside. My wife was VERY upset and it vaccumed every ounce of fun and romance out of the entire trip. She was crying the next morning. - Ulysses L'Espion

Nice property located directly across from the St Ignace Star Line Ferry dock. Very convenient for us because it was raining the morning we arrived. Room was okay - sign in lobby indicates updates are coming for 2024 season. Maybe they’ll put refrigerators in the rooms.

The staff extremely uninterested in guests. Bell boy rude. AC/Heat so outdated. No fridge or shoes in the room. Nothing. Not even complimentary water. Vending machines take CASH only. Had to walk several blocks to grab WATER from a store. Overall i would not recommend staying here.

CENTRALLY LOCATED
This hotel was within walking distance to most of the island's activities and restaurants; it was also close to the docks of both ferry lines so you could walk. The indoor pool and hot tub were delightful and a nice gathering area at the end of the day for all of us. Friends & family enjoyed the balconies on each of the floors, in addition to the large porch with rocking chairs - they were delightful places to sit and relax.

Amazing place to stay. Great service and rooms were spacious and clean. Decor was quaint and king bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend and we will be back again.

Room was across the elevator. Our room was on the third floor. Right above the pool area it was like a echo chamber. Then 11pm kids running in the hall and they were yelling. Issues with beening woke at 12, 1, 2, and 4 am from Adults yelling and screaming hide and seek. Worst stay my husband and I had on the island. First time we stayed in a hotel on the islad. Normally it's a B & B never again will we stay in a hotel on the Island.

Beautiful property with comfy beds and great shower/bathroom! The room was very clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Great location, especially because it is across the street from the ferry docks.

Loved this place. It does need some updating which they are starting to do in 2024. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very clean. We will definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay. They were pretty full when I booked so we had a corner room on 2nd floor over the pool balcony. Just wished I could of had a different room. Don't book room 214. The rest of stay was wonderful.

The suite we upgraded to was terrific, roomy and luxurious! Mu only issue was the tiny shower cabinet, especially for such a nice suite. The pool and jacuzzi are really nice, they should consider not allowing children under 12 in the hot tub (Jacuzzi). My biggest issue with Lake View was NO BREAKFAST SERVICE, ridiculous for such a high end hotel! When you pay the rates we did, we should at least get a continental breakfast. The location was great, very close to Shepler's ferry.
