"When booking one of the criteria we looked for was air-conditioning. This was not switched on by the hotel, they said it was too cold. Instead we were advised to open the balcony door, we did this but it was very noisy and mosquitoes came in. We were there for a week, there was no where to store your clothes and no space in the bathroom for toiletries. We did ask at reception about this at the same time we asked about the aircon. The hotel did offer us another room but there were still no facilities to store either clothes or toiletries. The staff were helpful but unable to offer a solution."

The speciality restaurants were amazing, again the food did not disappoint!! Would definitely stay at the Amara again. "

The pools were lovely, although the Children’s pool was closed and the main pool was on the cold side. However the heated indoor pool was great for the children to swim in. Kids Club facilities are amazing, equipped with soft play and extensive activities. Children have to be 4yrs old to be left unattended, however you can gain access to supervise younger children."
