Days Inn by Wyndham Klamath Falls

"The Days Inn by Wyndham was a shot in the dark while blindly comparing motels, but it turned out to be a great choice. It appears to a 1960s or '70s complex that has recently been renovated. The room was spacious and in very good shape. And the price for the two-queen-bed room was very fair. There is an attached, but unaffiliated, restaurant -- the Red Rooster Pub & Grill -- that was extremely convenient and pleasant. The area doesn't look like much. It's the outskirts highway motel strip, but this was a good find."

"Great lodging with thoughtful amenities within the room, at a very affordable price. Spacious, nicely furnished, comfortable king size bed. Very functional kitchenette with fridge, microwave, dishware, Keurig coffee maker, pods and even half-n-half provided. The property has nice spaces in and outside for larger gatherings like a wedding reception. Self check-in was easy, but some interaction with the proprietor or staff would have felt more welcoming. It felt a little strange to just come and go. We liked the quiet location in McCloud, away from the tourist spots, shops and restaurants. Great hike at the McCloud falls which are a quick drive from the lodge. We enjoyed well prepared meals at the Pipeline Craft Taps & Kitchen in Mt Shasta."

"The staff was absolutely amazing, they were extremely accommodating and served the most amazing breakfasts! Sitting on the patio watching hummingbirds was so much fun. The location is close to the 3 waterfalls hike and stunning views of Mt. Shasta. The town is quiet and has limited access to restaurants but the service at each place we visited was great! Highly recommend!!"
