"Upon arrival I found the room to be really dirty, only one towel, the television wasn’t working, no toilet seat, a dry loogy in the sink, and the walls had what looked like boogers on it, so I went to request another room and the clerk did switch me. She took me to another room and she had me check to see if the toilet seat was good and I agreed. "We got a Samal house right on the water and it was perfect for the romantic quiet getaway we were looking for. We did a little island hopping stayed active by using their very adequate gym equipment and by swimming a ton. They have to very nice pools but I preferred snorkeling and checking out the fish on their pro"

"I had a pleasant stay overall. There was some noise from the room above me, which I reported to customer service — thankfully, it improved after that. The food at the cafeteria was good, and the pool area was enjoyable. However, I did have an unfortunate incident at the pool. While rushing to my child who was calling me, I slipped on the wet tiles surrounding the pool. My left foot was slightly cut by one of the tiles. The pool staff member was incredibly helpful — he went above and beyond to treat my injury with ice and ointment, and I really appreciated his quick response and kindness. I do hope the facility considers replacing the pool tiles with non-slip material. As they are now, they pose a serious trip hazard, especially for parents with young children."
