when we reach the hotel, there was no one at the reception. I ring the bell a few times still no one entertain us. Until I ask someone at the restaurant and she told me to find them at the pub. The room was ok and quite big. No coffee/tea making facilties in the room but there's a microwave. parking is just in front of the hotel.
Never stayed, drove up, bad feeling right away. Husband went in and came out saying, nope, not staying. Keep driving, we actuslly drove back to kamloops and adjusted our trip to a different route. Looked run down, and filthy. Disappointed
Unpretentious and roomy room makes for a nice stay
Really relaxing being here. Spacious and simple. Some late-nighters on the street can be easily heard, but it was brief, and not so terrible. Restaurant was okay too. I like the little town very much.

Stop over
It is located near the railway track if you closed the windows maybe it will be okay. We did not closed the windows and the noise of the train is almost every 2 hours from 1am till 6am.

Basic accommodations in remote area.
This facility conveniently includes a cafe and bar. Its a funky hotel and obviously old but I enjoyed the atmosphere. Has a sort of "Northern Exposure" feel to it. Rates are reasonable for what you get. If you want a standard hotel this place isn't for you. The train might wake you up but there is no escaping it in this town.

Older renovated hotel....good value
Clean, spacious room, nice shower. Friendly, helpful owners, good location....restaurant there, easy walk about in town.
Hotel needs repair. It's the only hotel in town that offers air condition so with temps in high 90's we took a chance and booked 2 rooms, one for us and another for my daughters family of 4. Rooms were clean but needed updated. Air conditioner was in the window and was very noisy and didn't work very well. We booked this room for our River rafting which is about 3 miles away. Maybe the codes in BC are more laxed then in the US but, fire escape stairs had live power lines at head level right where you open the door. Bathroom sink was falling off the wall. We stayed 2 nights. It had a Chinese restaurant off the lobby which was very yummy food. Owner works both hotel and restaurant. Overall the stay was okay, but probably would never stay again.

Regarding the cheap price it was an experience.
It is a worn "hotel". But the staff were kind and helpful and the beds were ok.
Very hot and bright room with noisy aircon. Turned it of and slept with open windows.
Poor wifi

Just an overnight stay & a comfortable place to sleep.
The hotel has seen better days. The current owners do appear to be trying their best, but there is lots more for them to do. The room itself was acceptable, but close you eyes on the way up...
