Lymington Self-Catering Garden Retreat
Deerleap Lodge is a quaint cabin nestled on the outskirts of the New Forest National Park. It is a well-appointed, self-catering, light and airy garden cabin with a nautical theme and an open plan feel. Sleeping 2 guests, it's just a short walk to historic seaside town Lymington, ferries to the Isle of Wight and nearby beaches. With gorgeous south-facing views towards Keyhaven Nature Reserve and IoW, it is ideal for couples, walkers, birdwatchers and cyclists looking for a relaxing retreat. The lodge backs onto gorgeous south-facing views of the Keyhaven nature reserve and Isle of Wight, and is complete with garden, chairs and bbq with both sets of doors opening onto the lawn. The lodge regularly gives you an up-close and personal experience with some of the local wildlife, with more permanent residents including Roe deer, owls, song birds, pheasants and more.
Conveniently located on the main coast road from Lymington to Christchurch, Bournemouth and beyond. Apologies, but no dogs due to the local wildlife, chickens and open fields backing onto the property.
The bedroom has a king-sized bed that can be split into twins on request, space for a cot (not provided) and an electric radiator. The lounge has a sofa bed, smart TV, DVD player and electric log heater. The spacious separate bathroom comes complete with waterfall shower and heated towel rail, airing cupboard and more. The galley kitchen has modern white fitted appliances including full-size fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and drawers for storage. There is also a small table and chairs for eating. The lawn area has some privacy screening and is complete with decking, a bistro table and chairs, deck chairs, dining area, BBQ and lighting. The cabin is situated away from the house in a secluded position in the garden of Crewkerne Cottage, just off the main route from historic Lymington to new Milton. It offers privacy, personal space and most importantly peace and quiet. Accessed through the large driveway, there's easy parking for multiple vehicles and storage for bikes. The lodge is just a short-walk down the gravel path away from the house and behind a fence for added privacy. We are mostly on-site throughout your stay so if there are any additional requirements, or recommendations needed please ask. Our cabin is self-catering and there are plenty of local shops, takeaways and a Waitrose nearby. The cabin is heated so can be used all year. There is plenty of parking including room for a small boat and trailer. There is a covered area to store bikes.

Excellent accommodation fully equipped with all you possibly need in a wonderful location set in a gorgeous garden. Neil and Lorna our hosted were so friendly and helpful giving great advice on sights and places to explore.
We had a wonderful time at the Deerleap Lodge. The cabin was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The hosts Neil and Lorna were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for visiting the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu and the beaches.
All in all, we had a lovely time.
Lovely cabin with everything you need inc. off-road parking. Easy walking to Lymington or the coast with plenty of places to eat and drink. Garden space to relax outside is a bonus so you can be as active or as lazy as you like. Lovely hosts, definitely recommend.
Beautiful cabin retreat, peaceful space, an array of wildlife in the garden. Lorna and Neil are perfect hosts giving privacy to enjoy the space also very knowledgeable of local history and great recommendations for places to see and local produce. Amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful decor and organic bathroom products, can’t recommend this place highly enough, hope to retire in the future.
Exceptional hosts who have obviously taken a great deal of time in making this accommodation perfect for a short or long stay. Very comfortable, great bedding and a lovely ‘seaside’ decor.
Kitchen facilities etc; all that you need if you like to prepare and cook your meals.
Thank you Lorna and Neil for all the info you have supplied.
Very good facilities, location and accessibility. Friendly and approachable owners on site. Very good information about locality and facilities. Would definitely visit again.
