"This was our favorite stay for our 7-day New England trip! After a hectic day exploring Vermont towns with thousands of other tourists, it was a breath of fresh air to pull into peaceful Lyme. The inn is well appointed with gorgeous gardens and sitting areas. Comfortable rooms with tasteful decor. Easy parking. The onsite restaurant is wonderful! We didn’t know to make a reservation but they offered to seat us at the bar. We got lucky and a cancellation came through, so we had a leisurely meal in the sunroom with a very kind and helpful server. There’s not much to do outside the inn, but we enjoyed strolling by the historic horse stables and down the main road after dinner. Would absolutely stay again, and next time, we’ll remember to reserve a table for dinner! "

"Very clean room, love that they allow pets, very friendly and they were very helpful answering my question about do they have discounts if your going to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. Will be staying there again Just wished they had a mini frig."
