"One of our favorite hotels in Maine! The rooms are small but cozy and comfortable. We love both pools. Pools and pool bathrooms are super clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Love the snack options in the pool lobby. The beach across the street is amazing and also the restaurant across the street is so good. Overall such a good hotel. We come back at least once a year if not more"

"We booked this hotel because it was advertised as a 4-star hotel, but it was nowhere close to that rating. At best, it felt like a 3-star property. The facility itself is large with many rooms, but the maintenance and service were below average. The pillows in our room smelled bad, and when we informed the front desk, they said someone would come replace them, but that never happened. We requested to have the room freshened up, but when we returned later in the evening, nothing had been done. The staff did not seem to know why the request was never attended to. Another surprising issue was that when we asked for plates and cutlery for the room, they said that house keeping was not available. That was very unexpected for a hotel claiming to be 4-star. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and the cleanliness, maintenance, and service all felt below average."

"Spent our 25 Anniversary here. The location is absolutely beautiful, sitting directly on the top of a 100 foot tall cliff. The views from the main lobby, pool, restaurant & room were all incredible. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Dinner at the Tiller was delicious. The Bald head Coffee shop has great breakfast. The pool area is well maintained with chairs, umbrellas, views and sounds of the crashing waves. Inside, the rooms are nicely designed with perfect furnishings. Be sure to take the time to roam the property and take in all the little areas. Highly recommend. The price is high but the experience worth it."
