"Checked into the hotel and the staff did not tell us anything. We went to the room and thought about using the fitness room. Went downstairs and could not locate it. Went to staff and was told it’s by the pool. We never did find it even after walking around the pool area that we could get to. Breakfast was a Belgium waffle and orange juice. The hotel room bathroom was horrible and the door was literally coming apart. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"This was our first time staying here and unfortunately it will also be our last. My wife and I were only in town for one night because the place we usually stay had no availability that weekend. To start with the positives, the location for our purposes was ideal. It’s close to the mall and near Raymond James Stadium, which made getting around very convenient. Unfortunately the room had several issues. The AC barely worked and the room stayed hot most of the stay, especially before sundown. The bigger problem though was the sewer smell. Both the hallway and the room had a very strong sewer odor that made it hard to stay inside. We actually went to the mall and bought concentrated room spray from Bath & Body Works just to make the room bearable. Parking is also a nightmare. The spaces are extremely tight and if you leave in the evening, forget trying to find a spot after about 8 pm. There was also no coffee maker in the room, which was surprising for a Hilton property. The bed and bedding were comfortable, but even service was disappointing. We asked housekeeping for an extra towel for an early morning shower and were told they could not assist."

"Beach view was great. The pool was being renovated but the bathroom had a lingering sewer smell i guess because it’s by the bay. Elevators were slow."

"My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for almost 20 years, every time we visit Tampa. This time was different and not in a good way. They started charging for parking! Ridiculous! We were approached by a Hilton sales person every time we even walked thru the lobby with them trying to sell us something which was off putting. We will not be staying here anymore. "
