"My family and I stayed in the lovely cabin number 2. It was a true Alaskan experience for us. The cabin has an open floor plan with kitchen and living room, a queen bedded room on the first floor. Shower toilet and sink, with thirty towels. It also has a loft with a double bed and twin, it is spacious. The Chilkoot Lake State Recreation is short drive up the street. Haines is only seven miles from the cabin. In Haines there is an IGA that has everything. If you're looking to view the night sky...

"Room was great! We fly fished in the Chilkoot just below the cabins and then jumped in the hottub afterward, then cooked our fish on the shared outside grill. We requested a filet knife and voila!.. Two eagles live there so they were always around. Great view, relaxing. Too early for bear but great spot. Rental car is a must be we hopped around onto highway, bought groceries in town. Frankly eating at the cabin a couple of days vs renting a car equals out in price…. Hope to come back during bear...

"The property was lovely and clean. Great view of the waterfalls across the inlet. There was a bit of confusion about the check-in process, but it was quickly sorted out by the property manager."
