"We booked this last minute as another hotel had let us down which threatened to ruin our holiday. Although it was one of the more expensive options we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. We were given a complementary drink on the terrace. The pool area was lovely. The owner was so welcoming, our room was large and comfortable, the breakfast was served in a nice room and the restaurant experience was superb - we had a delicious dinner outside on the terrace. "Everything you need for a wind-down in the country. All you could need is provided in the clean and comfortable gite. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door.
