"Left with the worse sinus infection - Unsure if it was due to the air conditioner or the fact that I am allergic to Marijana and that is all that was able to be smelled throughout the hallways and wafting under the door. The room itself was clean, covers on the mattresses (awesome!) The room was old, looked like newer floors, but the humidity in the room was making the flooring lift so walking around the room was a little noisy. The staff was ABSOLUTELY amazing, nice and efficient. The ice machine was not working - was told to "just go back in an hour" and there would be ice - went back multiple times - no avail. The key cards would not stay activated. Was told don't put them by the phone, I literally set it on the dresser near NOTHING and it still did not work. We did not eat breakfast if it was available I didn't notice. Probably wouldn't stay again. We did not use the shower - there was a bath mat down and it was gross and the shower was NOT clean - the counter and the sink/toilet were, so that is fine. Wouldn't have been able to stay more than overnight with no shower available. "

"Asia was the only staff member I had a positive experience with during my stay. They attempted to accommodate me and switched me to two (2) different rooms that wreaked of cigarette smoke. Additionally, shouted and banged on my door without identifying themselves, demanding I come out because I was past my check-out time. I was not and had paid receipt proof of an extended late check-out in addition to making a note in my reservation booking. They failed to take responsibility and check their records and receipts prior to behaving in such an unprofessional and erratic manner. It's already hard enough in this economy to stay afloat, so I highly recommend spending your hard earned money elsewhere unless you enjoy being shouted at, mistreated and cigarette smoke filled rooms."

"The home is the most beautiful and well-appointed rental we have ever had. I wish the weather had cooperated so we could have fully enjoyed the wonderful yard and the amazing river across the street. We will be going back, hopefully many times. It gave us the peace and quiet we so badly needed. What the owner has done to modernize a piece of history, without removing any of its historic vitality is amazing and so appreciated. It is minutes walk from historic Ellicott City, across the street from the river, and the yard is so private, due to the landscape, you feel at peace and secluded with your guests. Parking is a breeze right next to the house. and the sheets were so soft!This house is a gift to those that chose to stay. If you want to stay in history, without loss of the modern this is the place for you."

"The only problem i had with this hotel was that the dead bolt on my room door was broke. But the room was clean and i didnt have any other problems. I will stay again but the room door needs to be fixed "
