We love hiking in and around Shenandoah National Park. I've stayed in and around Luray several times and this was my favorite place we stayed; would love to go back here again!
Beautiful location, very clean cabin, everything we expected as advertised. Plan to book here again one day.

Relaxing and peaceful get away
Great place to relax grandkids enjoyed the playground and hot tub ping pong is always a hit for them enjoyed watching movies at night by the fireplace and we even got to see snow falling being from Florida that was a great experience for them
Would love to come back during summer time to enjoy the river and other activities
This was the perfect cabin especially with young kids. Our kids enjoyed the playground, short walk to the river, tetherball and fire pit to make s’mores. Inside was just as fun and comfy with darts and ping pong. We would highly recommend booking this cabin for a relaxing getaway!

Amazing place to stay!
This place is beautiful! Perfect location if you like secluded but not too far away from things. About 45 minutes from Shenandoah which wasn’t bad at all. Shenandoah rentals were fantastic to deal with. Any questions I had were quickly responded to. The river was beautiful to walk down to. Definitely would stay there again!

Great getaway!
Had a great time at Heaven Can Wait. Cabin was very clean and wrap around deck was awesome. Off the beaten path but less the 30 minutes from shopping. Shenandoah river was crystal clear and good fishing. Firepit at night was great! More than enough room for 6 people.
Great property! A short 2 min walk to the river. Hot tub, fire pit, and big children’s playground. Nice welcome basket and has both K-cup and drip coffee makers. Pet friendly. Definitely get your groceries before coming up — it’s 25 min drive back into town.

NYmet its getaway
Highly recommend. We arrived late at night and we pleasantly suprised when we opened the doors to an amazing log cabin resort. The 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living and kitchen areas were clean and welcoming. Not only did we find basic supplies avaiable but it had many other needed items. The welcome basket was also a nice touch. The mattresses were a bit lacking but itherwise everything was perfect. Hot tub outside at night, rocing xhairs on the porch in the am, corkscrew have asked for more. The water is within walking distance, great for early morning quiet. The location is on a dirt road (6 miles ), so be prepared to clean your car after leaving. Communication from staff and agency was great before during and after. Definitely worth it. Hoping to get back there this year for some winter fun

A great escape!
This truly was a peaceful place to get away to. It was also among the cleanest! Kids really enjoyed cooking over the firepit, visiting the river, spotting wildlife, the playground and amazing wrap around deck. Inside feels cozy with plenty of room for games, naps and relaxing. Luray Caverns is about 40 minutes away and worth a visit. Flotzies is a must for milkshakes! Definitely on the list for another visit!
Some additional details that I usually look for in reviews: There is a highchair available, so no need to bring your own. Cell signal really is sparse, Verizon had absolutely none, ATT may get a single bar outside, near the firepit. In the final few miles, signal comes and goes, so if you are relying on your phone for navigation, it may temporarily drop. That's not a big deal since the house is easily visible from the road and not hard to miss. The stairs are straight, meaning no turns/breaks. There is a baby gate in one of the closets that can be used to block off stair access if you aren't comfortable with your little ones around them. The last ~6 miles are well-maintained gravel and there are some areas that you will need to go slow and pay attention but most vehicles will be ok. I'd feel comfortable with a FWD minivan/sedan on it when not snowy/icy, though it is a little nerve-wracking when encountering another vehicle on one of the turns/inclines. It's probably expected, but there is no delivery here. We just planned meals and stopped by Food Lion/Walmart before arriving, the cold items were fine for the remainder of the drive.
We had an amazing time in Luray. The cabin was clean and the host went above and beyond to make our stay even more memorable. If we go back to luray we will be staying here.
This house was great. We enjoyed the yard with the tether ball and playground for the kids, the hot tub was great, the ping pong table was fun for everyone, and we roasted marshmallows over the campfire. The river is literally steps away and made for an easy walk with the dog. Highly recommend!
We decided at the last minute to get away for Christmas. Everything went smoothly. The wrap around porch is what sold us to pick this location. It did not disappoint. Kitchen was equipped for our holiday cooking. As advertised, WiFi is minimal. We found if you take the short walk to the river you can get what you need. We were able to get Netflix on our phones to watch Christmas Day football. We saw some wildlife on the gravel road, Billy goats, wild turkeys.
This was a great relaxing get-away for us. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and sitting in the hot tub after a long day in Luray. In the mornings while sitting on the porch we enjoyed watching the deer come into the yard. The home was nicely appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh. We enjoyed the wraparound porch with so many rockers and chairs. It was lovely to relax in them while enjoying the scenery. The only "negative" we had was the bathtub could've used a rubber mat because one of our members fell while showering (no injury except for his pride). We didn't have any children with us but the playground, tetherball, and pingpong table would've been instant favorites.
It was on a beautiful and peaceful property. The house was extremely clean. Hot tub well maintained. We enjoyed the fire pit at night. Our family had a wonderful time here.
The house was clean, and the best stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Everything worked. it is located down a gravel road so there was very little traffic, back in the country kind of setting but just about 20 min from downtown.

Northern VA. getaway
This was a beautiful cabin that is very remote ( it was about 14mi off the main highway, which about 6mi of the drive was on a gravel road, which was my only complaint) We needed to go back out twice while we were there and the gravel part of the road was not enjoyable. The cabin was very clean inside but could have used a wash down on the outside. The porch and hot tub area was pretty dirty.
We picked this location because it was along the Shenandoah River, and because we wanted a family sized cabin that would also allow dogs. COVID

Great getaway
Located along the river, the facility has everything you need to rest, relax and enjoy the summer with a dip in the pool. The wrap around porch with an enclosed gas grill is great for viewing the spectacular sunsets and surrounding mountain. We met here for a family get together with our sons and their children and all had a good time particularly since it had been quite a while we all could get together. Highly recommend this place and the rental staff is very helpful.
