An imaginative transformation of an old engine shed into a modern hotel and restaurant that is a delight. About a km from the station and readily accessible by car. A very comfortable, quiet room that was really a small apartment with kitchen facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay without qualification.

Don’t book! This is not a hotel. Reception is generally unmanned, we were charged for parking but no space and rooms were very hot even on a cool day.

Sorry to hear this was your experience. Because you had already payed for your parking we removed the cost for your dog instead so you did not pay more than you were supposed to in the end. Sorry that you could not find a parking, that should not happen. I worked both when you checked in and when you checked out so we were manned when you needed us at least. :) The reception opening hours aremon-fri: 7am-6pmsat-sun: 8 am-4 pmHave a nice day!

This is a really lovely hotel hidden away from the centre of Lund but very easily accessible by foot or taxi. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good indeed. The only thing that I have to complain about is the lack of staff on reception when we arrived - it took a while for us to find out that we should ring a number and get check in details. Also, strangely - staff found my purse that I had left in reception but failed to get it to me. If I hadn't asked the following morning about the card, they would have let me leave the hotel without it. It could so easily have been returned to me earlier before I cancelled all my cards with my bank. It caused me a great deal of inconvenience the rest of my trip to Sweden. Nothing beats a human being for communication.

Comfortable rooms with fridge, stove and cutlery. We stayed 5 days. The rooms are not cleaned and we only got one set of towels per person for whole stay.

Large apartment style room, beautiful bathroom and tastefully appointed. The walls could use a coat of paint and the sofa had a large tear in fabric. I don’t think it is appropriate to charge for parking when the space belongs to the hotel and the area is not in the downtown sphere. Breakfast was wonderful. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

Staff was super nice. We rented bikes from the hotel which was super convenient. The room is very spacious and has a kitchen - cooked our own meals :)

The hotel is built from a converted (and much transformed) railroad warehouse, which gives it a unique character. The lobby, breakfast area, and guests rooms were lovely and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The hotel is located about a ten minute walk from the center of Lund--we found that distance to be quite walkable and through pleasant neighborhoods (note that we stayed in June).

Good value, great location
Very nice building, cosy bar and relaxing areas. Breakfast super nice. Rooms not so cosy, but very practical. we stayed with family, did not need the kitchenette. But I could really see the benefits for a longer business trip. Super location, close walking to down town and university. Easy parking outside hotel on their lot, for 100kr per day. Would stay again.

Should have been better for the price
Check-in was very impersonal. Even though we arrived at 18:00 the reception was closed. Had to call someone on a call box who buzzed us in the front door. Then we had to use a courtesy phone to call someone else who gave us info about our room key, parking, etc. Both people seemed like I was bothering them by calling. The breakfast was meager. A sign informed that it was due to the Covid situation. Maybe. But in that case the room rate should be reduced accordingly for reduced service. At the room rates, I would also expect cleaning every day, even if fresh towels and sheets are not necessary every day.

This property is great, very new and clean inside with comfortable beds (even the sleeper side!). Parking is very affordable and the hotel is a short walk from the city center. The tasting menu in the restaurant was amazing, highly recommend with the wine pairing!

Lovely hotel
This is a beautiful hotel in a refurbished historical train depot. I loved the area, Lund is a quiet treasure that is worth spending the day exploring. Using the interstate it takes about 30nutes to get into Copenhagen. The staff were very friendly, free washer and dryer use and the breakfast was much more than the usual continental breakfast.

Good stay in the Moore Hotel Lund
The hotel is good, but it is not really a hotel since no one makes up your room and bed nor changes towels. It is supposed to use the same set of towels for a week which I find too long for it to be fungus free. If you want your towels changed, it should be paid. I do use my hotel towels always for few days due to ecological reasons but not more than 3 days in a row (showering once a days minimum on such trips). My room had an annoying bathroom vent that could not be switched off. Also the fridge was noisy and I had it switched off since I wasn't using it. The bed was comfortable and the room was very pleasant, not cold nor hot, perfect temperature. Unfortunately WiFi signal in my room was weak and I needed to sit near the room entry door to catch the internet to be able to work on the laptop. The hotel is little further from the center. On the positive side, the breakfast was top class. Overall I would recommend to stay in this hotel, especially if you are visiting for touristic reasons. It is a much better choice than worn down expensive hotels in the center of Lund.

Great home away from home
Loved my studio apartment with the high ceilings, large windows, and kitchenette. Staff were helpful and breakfast was enjoyable. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from central Lund and roughly a 20 minute walk from the train station. I would stay here again when I am in Lund in the future.

Interesting hotel with helpful staff
The hotel is a little outside the city in what appears to be a residential area so it looks a bit out of place. Nice size room and the pull-out bed was ready made up. Limited on-site parking but expensive so we used a side-street a few hundred metres away (free until 0900 but the clever Swedish parking meters allow you to pay the night before and adjust the stay length to whatever you want in increments of 1Kr and it factors in the free cost overnight. All payable by credit card - when will the UK learn!!) It is about a 15min walk into the town centre of this very beautiful town. Full of interesting buildings, shops and restaurants, with loads of historical sites as well as a nice park. We had had a delivery of a box of goods there in advance and the staff had been very helpful in receiving that, though in the end we collected it from the nearby supermarket). Fire alarm in the middle of the night was a bit of a distraction and it would have been nice to have had something said about it on checking out. Overall a good place to stay in a lovely town well worth visiting.
