Fantastic mountain view in a private detached Mediterranean house with a generous turn (approx. 800m2) in the picturesque village of Carona, 597m above sea level, in the sunny hills above Lugano.

Carona offers a wide range of relaxation and activity programs for families, sports enthusiasts, and art and nature lovers.

Overview:

This Mediterranean but lovingly kept house, nestled in a beautiful private garden in a quiet location, offers 2 spacious bedrooms with two double beds and a single bed (can accommodate 5 people), bath / shower / toilet, guest toilet, living / dining room with Fireplace, lockable kitchen with fridge / freezer, stove and oven, covered terrace with table / chairs and children's swing, open granite stone table where you can end the evening comfortably and enjoy the fantastic mountain view.

The house has a covered parking space (max. 2 cars can be parked), satellite TV, radio. The whole area is non-smoking. Wifi available.

If necessary, there is also a cot and changing table incl. Storage space and various children's toys (indoor and outdoor) available.

Carona offers you a small but very diverse grocery store where you can also buy Ticino specialties.

Our Stay in Corona

Corona is a charming village high in the mountains outside Lugano. We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable house. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and Lake Lugano. The village has a charming church, shops, many ancient houses, a few hotels, and a large swimming pool open to the public. Nearby are hiking trails in all directions. It is perfect for a family vacation.

Amazing, quit and relaxing casa. On top of that with an incredible view over the mountains and the lake. People in Carona was really nice, gentle and helpful. It’s a perfect stay for a family with kids. Our kids loves it and did spend a lot of time with the available toys inside and outside There is a great public swimming pool near by that the kids loved really much. The home is located in the quaint town of Carona close to a swimming pool and hiking/mountain biking. The property also has a great view of Lake Lugano! Very clean and comfortable for my family of 4. Communication with the owner was awesome.

Auch bei diesem Aufenthalt hat uns das charmante Ferienhaus sehr gut gefallen.Der Garten war gepflegt, die Blumen haben geblüht. Wir konnten vom Haus aus loswandern. Das Freibad ist an heißen Tage gold wert.

Entspannte Tage in beeindruckender Umgebung

Umgeben von Vogelgezwitscher und Blumenduft haben wir wundervolle Wanderungen mit traumhafer Aussicht geniessen können. Das Freibad war zur Abkühlung super. Müde sind wir dann in das gemütliche Häuschen zurück gekehrt und haben den Abend auf der Terasse ausklingen lassen.

Entspannung und Abwechslung in Carona

Das Haus liegt ausgezeichnet, sehr ruhig, mit gepflegtem Garten und schöner Aussicht. Wir haben erholsame und abwechslungsreiche Ferien im Casa Dolores genossen. Wir konnten aufs Bike steigen und direkt vor dem Haus eine schöne Tour starten. Weitere Touren haben wir mit den Angaben aus den Ausflugtipps geplant. Wir hätten uns auch jederzeit an die Gastgeber wenden können. Der Kontakt war unkompliziert, sehr nett und zielführend. Für uns hat alles bestens gepasst. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Très beau séjour dans la casa Dolores

La maison est très agréable, bien équipée et d'une propreté impeccable. Le mobilier de la terrasse couverte a été renouvelé (photo 10), une belle et grande table de jardin et chaises permettent de déjeuner et dîner à l'abris tout en profitant de la vue magnifique sur le lac et les 2 plus hautes montagnes qui le bordent (Monte Generoso et Monte San Giorgio). Beau jardin, endroit très calme... repos garanti.

Wunderschöne Urlaubstage

Wir haben die Tage in der gemütlichen Casa Dolores in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne und ruhige Lage, der Garten ist herrlich und alles in sehr gepflegtem Zustand. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und wurden von den Gastgebern bestens betreut. Wenn es überhaupt etwas am Urlaub zu bemängeln gab, dann, dass wir von Hand abspülen mussten :-) Aber das hat die Urlaubsfreude nicht wirklich getrübt. viel Tolles und Sachen, die uns nicht so gefallen haben

Tolles: - sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber (Kein persönlicher Kontakt, aber per Whatsapp) - viele Outdoor- und Indoor-Spielsachen für Kinder, sogar eine (Baby)Schaukel - Kinderbett, Hochstuhl, Wickeltisch, Kindergeschirr, etc. alles da - gut ausgestatte Küche - schöne Aussicht Sachen, die uns nicht so gefallen haben: - keine Mückengitter vor den Fenstern - kein Geschirrspüler, keine Mikrowelle (aber dies ist aus der Beschreibung ja auch ersichtlich) - Heisswasser in der Küche kommt erst nach knapp 10 Minuten - viele Spinnweben und viel Staub (vor allem unter und hinter dem Sofa) - alte Küche, altes Bad, veraltetes Mobiliar (ausser Sofa) - wenige Steckdosen, Steckerleiste mitnehmen! Allgemein: - Carona liegt für Ausflüge und den Einkauf nicht ideal. Man muss meist zuerst nach Lugano runterfahren. Der Weg dauert knapp 20 Minuten und ist extrem eng und kurvenreich. - das Freibad ist zu Fuss circa 10 Minuten entfernt. Die zwei Kinderbecken sind etwas lieblos gebaut und voll in der Sonne. Die Liegewiese ist schön und viele Bäume spenden Schatten. - Carona hat einen sehr kleinen Lebensmittelladen, der das Nötigste bietet - das Restaurant "posta" ist sehr zu empfehlen. Nicht gerade günstig, aber sehr lecker - während unseres Aufenthaltes war es sehr heiss, auch im Haus Fazit: Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, das Kindern aber viel bietet.

Schönes Haus an prima Lage

Das Haus ist älter, aber sehr funktional und sauber. Es fehlt an nichts. Das schönste ist der Garten und die Lage mit viel Platz, schöner Aussicht - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Urlaub

Wir kannten den reizvollen Ort Carona schon von einem früheren Aufenthalt und haben uns auch deswegen für dieses Haus entschieden. Es liegt ganz herrlich, mit wunderbarem Blick über den See und auf die Berge sowie einem schönen Garten. Das Haus selbst ist sehr wohnlich und gemütlich. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen nett und um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Wir haben hier zwei schöne und erlebnisreiche Wochen verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Das Haus steht an traumhafter Lage mit Weitsicht und Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Viel Platz ums Haus, viel Privatsphäre. Inneneinrichtung älter jedoch sehr gemütlich. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.
