"I made a previous review, at the time we had just arrived and we were trying to close the heavy outer drapes they didn't close so we spent the first night with just the shears closed, not happy, we didn't realize that there was a third layer of solid drapes behind the shears on a separate rod behind the shears. The maids should leave them partially drawn so people know they are there. This wasn't our best stay there, we received no maid service the towels weren't changed out, the bed wasn't made and we were there most of the day and never saw the maid for our room, we seen one in the hall working on the next room, we were not told there would be no maid service. So we weren't happy about that. But the room was clean when we got there. There were plenty of towels, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, nice big selection. I really loved the tiny little waffle maker it made just the right size for someone who can't eat whole big one. There was lots of parking, and the staff we did see were very nice."

"Great for an overnight. Comfortable bed. The smell of stale cigarettes does hit you when you walk in the room but dissipates. The room, linens, carpet and walls are all very clean. The smell must be locked in the walls or something. There was definitely not enough seating at breakfast for a Sunday morning. Breakfast was OK, no hot foods, mostly bread, muffins, waffles. They did have hard boiled eggs for protein and fresh apples/oranges."

"Tom and Zabrina were the greatest hosts that we could hope for. They came over and made sure there was nothing that we needed for our stay. They even stayed and chatted about the area for awhile. The cabin was set up better than some people would even think of needing for a few days stay. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Their dog Starla was so adorable and friendly. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended! Words cannot describe how great this cabin was! Thank you so much to Tom,Zabrina and Starla!"

"Brittany the host was fantastic. She was pretty quick at her responses. She did everything she could to make us happy including offer to refund part of our stay. The listing says the mill runs weekdays. Thats only partially acurate. It ran to or past midnight most nights including saturday. The mill runs when the mill wants to. Its extremely loud. If you play music its not too bad. However this is a dog friendly place and our dogs were very uneasy of the noises and sometimes scared. The host refunded us for the mill going all day saturday. She offered us to do activities at another property. However my boyfriend was in a walking boot and we were unable to do most activities. It was relaxing but not peaceful. The hot tub thermometer is not acurate. It needed to be stirred up and have an evening with the lid off to cool down. We were able to use it once while there. Some of the furniture shown in images was broken so i would bring some chairs. There are 2 functional chairs. Not 6. Overall it was a really nice cabin. Just not as peaceful as we had hoped. The host did make it right but we wouldnt come back to this specific property."
