The property owners were very generous with the little things that help with family vacations - extra toothbrushes/toothpaste/floss, fresh eggs from their chickens, binoculars to watch the seals and sea birds, condiments, tea coffee, filters, butter. Really, if arriving after a long drive you could make do very easily without having to rush out to the shops on arrival day. Air conditioning was a definite plus with daily temperatures reaching 40 degrees celsuius. Everything was very clean and tidy.

Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. Close to Montague, close to beaches, close to lighthouses! We did an eastern coastal tour (plus Cavendish) during our stay and the property was centrally located! Cottage was very clean and comfy. However, floors and beds are squeaky (only an issue if you get up in the middle of the night). There is a beautful view of the bay, but no safe access to the water on the property for swimming... not really an issue as there are very nice beaches very close by. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property!
