"My mother-in-law died, I called the hotel to see if I could get a credit because this was something out of my control. They would not give me a credit for death with proof. So not good. People don't have no consideration when it comes to money. I was not able to check in."

"Only needed a room for the night and for the price it was as expected. Bed was comfortable room was clean. Only issue I had was the deadbolt for the door didn't work which for some is probably a big deal. The cafe also looks like it hasn't been opened in a long time which would have been convenient "

"I would not book this place again. When I arrived, my room was not ready and I had to wait over 2½ hours after driving 4 hours to get there. I originally booked my room ahead of time, so it should have been ready when I arrived. After waiting for a long time, I went back to the front desk and they offered me a different room than what I booked. At that point I accepted it because I didn’t want to keep waiting for them to clean the room I actually reserved. They still charged me full price, plus an additional $100 hold for the room that I was never told about beforehand. The hotel also had a bad smell and the pool area wasn’t even open. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and the owner was rude (I believe he was the owner) when addressing the situation. He quickly told me the receptionist would help. I regret choosing this hotel and will not be returning. And I’m still waiting on my 100 dollar hold "

"Understanding that it is a smaller property and they are undergoing renovations, everything seemed just okay. My gripe is with the staff. Check Out was at noon. Why was a staff member knocking on the room door at noon to ask if I intended to check out? How very rude!"
