"I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. "This is a unique property - very rural and peaceful, but within striking distance of Toulouse. The couple and their young daughter acquired the house and estate in 2018 to develop it as a vineyard, and a year later they opened four guest rooms. "The apartment was clean, spacious, and easily accessible. Everything you need in an apartment for a short stay was available (most importantly coffee and tea and a hot water boiler).
