Hotel Praia Sol

"The hot tub was not working during our stay. I had to ask the front desk for a blow dryer because the one in the room was very old and didn't blow hot air. The breakfast was ok, basic cereal, bread etc. But you could ask for hot eggs. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was beautiful. The distance to the water was an easy walk. The staff were all very nice. We had lunch one day by the pool, and the pizza was amazing! Drinks were reasonable and delicious. The room was very clean and had a large balcony. It was a very pleasant stay."

"A casa estava disponível para aluguer durante o verão, uma época em que as temperaturas costumam ser elevadas. No anúncio era referido que a habitação dispunha de ar condicionado; no entanto, à chegada constatei que apenas um dos quartos estava equipado com essa comodidade, enquanto as restantes divisões tinham apenas ventoinhas. Este aspeto ficou aquém das expectativas criadas pelo anúncio.A cozinha dispõe de um fogão a gás, cuja utilização exige alguns cuidados adicionais.Como pontos positivos, destaco a boa comunicação com a anfitriã e a localização da casa, situada numa zona tranquila e sossegada."

"The not-so-good: Loud thumping from the rooftop cistern's shut-off valve (frequent during the day, thankfully much less frequent overnight); no Keurig or kettle in the room; a bit of a walk into town and to the beach. The good: My room was big and clean; the staff I dealt with were pleasant and helpful; the breakfast buffet was abundant and tasty; and there were useful amenities very nearby (most notably Happy Andorinhas (a.k.a. Café Happy Swallows) and Algartalhos Supermercados). As the good far outweighed the not-so-good, I would stay there again on a future visit to Quarteira. :-)"

"I was very happy with my 4 night stay in Guest House Pacifica. On arrival I was greeted by Silvia who was very welcoming, helpful & friendly. The facility was very clean. My room was spacious & comfortable. Fridge was a bonus. Location was good. Just less than a 10 minute walk to seafront & great selection of restaurants & cafes. Basic services provided but very good value for money."
