The villa is located in a dead-end street of urbanisation of Varandas do Lago. It has the facilities of a development but all the benefits of an independent villa. It is just a stroll to restaurants on Julias- and Ancão beach and the restaurants on Vale do Garrão and Dunas Douradas urbanisations, Plentyful sport facilities can be found on The Campus, Quinta do Lago.
Upper floor. Large master bedroom and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and a balcony facing the swimming pool area. Further secluded terrace accessed from the landing. Second bedroom with 2 beds and en-suite bathroom.
Ground floor Third bedroom with two beds and doors leading to the terrace overlooking the pool area and a fourth bedroom with 2 beds. In between these two bedrooms there is bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet. Kitchen with sliding door leading to the kitchen terrace and (by steps) to the barbecue area. Spacious living with fireplace and dining room with French windows to a covered raised terrace with access to the swimming pool which has six steps and a floodlit surrounding terrace. Partially secluded gardens with shrubs and trees and a small lawn.
Area description : Villa Vivenda is situated in the heart of the so called Golden Triangle of the Algarve. We advice you to check its location on Google Earth: click on the coordinates 37 ° 02'53 .01 'N, 08 ° 02'21 .53' west longitude. Entering "villa Vivenda Almancil" on Google maps will also give you the exact location.
Sightseeing around Almancil: The church of São Lourenço de Matos is situated on a hill. It owes its name to Laurentius (3rd century), who's life was ended on a funeral pile because he gave the money meant for the construction of the church to the poor. In the 17th century the chapel was covered with tiles (azulejos). Together with the Marbel alter and the wood carving you should visit this church.
On 18 km. from the urbanisation you will find the centre of the capital city of the Algarve: Faro, with its beautiful historical centre next to the small vessel harbour, has several shopping centres. There are lots of cafes and restaurants as well.
The shops are modern and they can be compared with the shops you are used to in UK and Ireland. Most of them are opened between 09.00 and 23.00 hour. Between the city centre and Faro airport Forum Algarve mall is opened between 09.00 and 23.00. Since 2018 there is a new huge mall with special outlet centre (Mar Shopping) just in between Loulé and Faro (next to the IKEA shop).
Fun for Kids: In a country where the weather most of the year is warm and sunny, your children can play with water. Fortunately all the villas have a private swimming pool!
Zoo marine A water park with several dolphin, seal and sea-lion shows. One can also watch turtles, sharks, crocodiles, tropical fish and exotic and aquatic birds in the Oceans area that presents the life cycle of water and fauna from river source to ocean depth.
In the Algarve there are three water parks: The Big One, on the N125 at SILVES Slide & Splash, on the N125 at LAGOA Aqua show, on N396 between LOULÉ and QUARTEIRA.

The villa was fabulously located for all our needs. Fabulous restaurants and golf courses nearby. It was clean, the facilities were exactly as described and the property manager could not have been more helpful.
The villa was comfortable for four adults and two young children (10 months and 3 years). Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, although a toaster would have been nice. Living and dining room were nicely furnished and comfortable.
Perfect property and location - would definitely return. Not too much more to say - the villa was well furnished, clean, well positioned for either sitting by the pool or wandering down to the beautiful beach. Also well within reach of the excellent restaurants.
Such an amazing place, exactly as pictured, if not even better. Great social spaces, lovely pool and bedroom/bathroom sizes are huge! Quite area, nice neighbours and in easy reach of supermarkets and restaurants Highly recommend this villa!!

Villa Vivenda is exactly as described and more. A lovely spacious villa with everything you could need for a very enjoyable holiday.
We will certainly be looking to book again next year if available.
Large, comfortable property in a very quiet, upmarket residential location.
A bit remote so a car is essential but overall a very well equipped and comfortable Villa
We stayed at this lovely house for only one week but wish we could have stayed for much longer. The house is perfect and so too the location. There was everything we could have needed at the house and we had a lovely holiday here. The home was very clean and tidy - couldn’t fault anything! The owner is lovely to deal with and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a lovely, peaceful holiday. We hope to return when we can.

We have spent an incredible vacation, the house is wonderful, fully equipped, very quiet and comfortable, absolutely recommended.
The communication with the owners has been very good, and they are very nice.
Looking forward to returning very soon.
Pity that they do not admit animals, we would like very much to be able to go with our little dog.

Enjoyed two great weeks in this spacious villa with great outside area including a large deep pool. If UK TV is your thing then not a lot to choose from and possibly the main bedroom air con unit needs serviced as it struggled in the heat. But overall minor grumbles on a well maintained very clean house that I would return to without hesitation and strongly recommend
The villa is wonderful and the owner very responsive to queries. Very clean and the pool is quite large. We bbq one evening which was lovely. I would bring additional washing machine tabs for regular washing clothes. The location is urbanised with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. Uber is very quick and shops a few mins drive away. Prices vary depending on am/pm weekday/end. I would recommend Butchers Amancil and Tony's Pizzera for eating out both amazing and Cheeky Pup great pub for night out.
Wir haben hier Weihnachten 2022 und den Jahreswechsel verbracht. Gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage. Es war in den benachbarten Villen nichts los. Das sollte man ggf. in der Hauptreisezeit beachten. Es war von hier aus alles gut und schnell zu erreichen. Bis Faro und Albufeira sind es ca. 30 Minuten und bis Quarteira 20 Minuten. Ein Auto oder Fahrrad ist empfohlen, da von hier aus wenig zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Der Strand ist schön und auch zu Fuß (ca. 20 Minuten) zu erreichen. Auch kann man mit dem Rad super nach Quarteira oder nach Faro über die Stege am Strand fahren. Das ist schön angelegt und sehr weitläufig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist sehr schnell und komfortabel. Leider trübt jetzt im Nachhinein die komplizierte und nicht richtige Abrechnung des Stroms das Rund-um positive Bild: Es werden wegen einer viel zu späten Ablesung durch das Personal noch kWh in Rechnung gestellt, die nicht unser Verbrauch sind. Es geht nicht um viel Geld. Ich hoffe, das klärt sich noch.
Die Unterkunft und Kommunikation mit den Besitzern, sowie der Agentur waren super. Die Villa ist geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist schön und sehr gut erreichbar aus Faro. Wir waren reiten, Tennis spielen, schwimmen, Möglichkeiten gibt es viele. Ein sehr gelungener und erholsamer Familienurlaub!
To be honest the description does not do it justice. The Villa is large, well looked after and comes with everything needed for an holiday in the Algarve. There are numerous sunbathing areas from the roof to the pool and with it being south facing and sheltered from the strongest winds the area is famous for even I was able to still sunbathe even in December.
A car is definitely required but if you are into golf you are less than 10 minutes drive from the courses in the Quinta, Vale do Lobo areas and about 15 minutes from those in Villamoura. If golf is not your thing then the beach is 5 minutes drive away with what looks like two beach restaurants and miles of boardwalks and horse riding less than 5 minutes in the other direction.
