Great stay. Beautiful B&B for Louder than Life. Short ride to the venue. Room was clean and very well decorated. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Breakfast with a fountain view. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time in our bed and breakfast! Pat the owner was very pleasant and the breakfast was great! Every morning she made breakfast and it did not disappoint. She is very easy to talk to and informative about Louisville! Stay at the inn in St. James, you will feel like you are at home. Thanks Pat!❤️

Gorgeous Victorian Mansion

Super nice and friendly owner, Pat, and her two dogs were so welcoming. Beautiful home , clean and comfortable with lots of personal touches. Delish breakfast and enjoyable conversation with other guests. When we are headed back to Louisville, I’ll check with Pat first. 10/10

A Romantic Dream of the Past

A splendid late 18th century mansion in a neighborhood that is a veritable Gilded Age fairyland, with a grand, bubbling fountain and gaslight lamps (!) in the boulevard outside. In fact, inside and out this place was like stepping into a romantic dream of the past. Pat the owner renovated her home with exquisite taste, and everywhere you look there are details that delight the eye, from the finely crafted period bannisters and the leaded glass windows to objets artfully placed everywhere. The impressive style did not compromise comfort, and we spent a luxurious night in our beautifully appointed bedroom, with thoughtful details like a towel warmer (!) enhancing our stay. We still feel the glow of the Inn at St. James Court, which delivers a unique experience of beauty and Southern hospitality that was really unrival in our experience. I'm glad we discovered it.

Excellent stay in Old Louisville

I can’t recommend the Inn at St. James Court enough. Pat was exceptionally kind and thought of every detail a guest might need, and the house & surrounding street was beautiful.

A definite stay in Louisville

We had a lovely stay at the Inn at St. James Court. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were very clean. I highly recommend for a B&B stay in Louisville!

Awesome B&B

We had a wonderful overnight stay and plan to go back soon. The house is absolutely beautiful, our hostess Pat was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Also a wonderful cook. The neighborhood was amazing, blocks of Victorian homes, and we loved our first real visit to Louisville. We can’t wait to go back!

An Owner's Labor Of Love and Hospitality

Pat, the owner is very attentive and sociable. The Inn is on a beautiful, historic square. The rooms are comfortable, and well-appointed, and she served a fresh, hearty, delicious breakfast. I heartily recommend this inn for anyone wanting a relaxing, elegant stay in Louisville. It was perfect for my husband and me, but it would not be suitable for business travelers requiring reliable, high-speed WiFi or for disabled travelers who would struggle with stairways.

Beautiful victorian house. The breakfast was delicious both days! Pat was a wonderful host - friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent for seeing Old Louisville and eating at a top rated restaurant 610 Magnolia which was in walking distance. There are also shows and tours at the central park, also only a couple blocks away.

This is the must-stay place for a trip to Louisville. Beautiful home, well appointed in every way and the owner is knowledgeable about the area, gracious and an excellent cook. The breakfast every morning was delicious and well balanced. The area is great for walking and taking in old Louisville and is convenient to many attractions.
